I have to agree with several above posters.
With the new combat re-arrange, I miss more, get hit more and do less damage. If this is to be the status quo, then that is my biggest issue. As a Master I should hit more, get hit less, and do more damage. I understand that it is a work in progress...but...Until this is done, fixed, unfrigged, or whatever they are going to ultimately do, I cant really say what is bad, what is good.
Someone brought up an interesting item tho. After Master you continue to accrue xp. Why? Just so you can re-learn if you drop a skill? Lame. If xp continues, it should 'buy' items, similar to faction points. Weapons, moves, fancy hats, whatever.
Currently we have an auto attack. Get hit, you hit back. It would be cool to have an auto defense. When surrounded by a MOB, auto defense fends off hits. No attacks only defense. Like Cob, but actually valid. Instead of missing occasionally, you would miss a block occasionally, letting in a hit. Handy for the crowd control angle. Now we hit, and rarely block/counter. I would like to block, and rarely hit, when called upon.

Force Pike
Glaive
Spears (I saw requests that these be a 'thrown' weapon)

My top issues would have to be (assuming they'll be fixing the HAM):
- Accuracy
- Defense
- !Block!
- Toughness
- The area-related specials seem to only attack 1 person.. It just looks weird when we do an areasweep and he only looks to attack a single enemy, when enemies around you fall. Maybe make the sweep have him sweep the area? I'm not sure if i want Polearmarea2 tampered with, it looks so **edit** cool

Although as far as weapons, I would also love to see glaives, force-enchanted pikes (will we be able to use them just as well?), and spears. But i think with the whole weapons re-haul, when they are probably going to be adding new weapons, they should also add elite profession skills that make us able to be the master at either spear-type weapons, glaives, scythes, etc..And just the use of elite professions alone for defense, or crowd-control, etc.. Anyway, i remember that being mentioned before and I love the idea of making my pikeman more specific. I guess thats more of a wish-list then some issues, but yeah I'm tired

more defence
area attacks making one check against all the mobs in range then an individual check against each mob. Its annoying when you area kd and half the mobs fall, you use it again the other half falls and the rest stand back up. Either kd them all or not at all.
longer range why should a pike have the same reach as a tka?
working block
mitigation it hurts us more then it helps. Shouldnt melee proffesions get ranged mitigation as were often kited by gun toting npcs and players.
Wishlist weapons:
swallow duel bladed staff
glaves limited use and able to be thrown
Wishlist Abilities:
area bleeds
area dizzy/kd put into one move
feign attack attack that pushes back animals holding them at poles length
Misc wish list:
more asthetic looking pikes - Allow weaponsmiths to custom color and construct pikes. Would be nice to see different styles of bladed ends or different swing colors. It would only be for appearence.

More Defenses: Tired of being KD'd and Dizzied so easliy, also just an idea...tk's can do it, why cant we...MEDITATE...I hate being poisoned and diseased and having to just wait for it to tick away. Maybe we can get some meditating love?? ![]()
Accuracy: If I'm not blind...at master, I dont think i should be missing!
Weapons: More of a wish than a concern....weapon selection for melee classes tend to be fairly limited...atleast something different for the master of a profession
Hold: I think this would be a great tool for us...It always sux when a mob backs away from us so I am constantly having to move in to attack while it constantly moves away
Attack Range: Definitely dont feel like i should have the same attack range as tkm...I have a big stick i can hit you with!
Also...I picked up master brawler for a while and had gotten used to polearmlunge2...I really never looked into the range for it...but it really helped out alot in knockin down targets....I used sweep2 last night for the first time in a while and couldnt knock down my pvp target...out of range, so maybe a better knock down for us
