Hey all, I'm a retired armoursmith looking to escape crafting, who's almost qualified for the ranger class, but I have yet to see a ranger trainer anywhere.

Could someone please give the locations of some NPC trainers? Naboo by preference but I'll take anything!

I can tell you that Mos Entha, Tatooine has a Ranger Trainer.

He has a kiosk set up on the West end of town, along the outside of the city wall.

"Daddy, what's that bad man doing to my (Star Wars)?"

"Son, that bad man is (SOE), and he's **edit**ing your (Star Wars)."

Ranger is not a profession. It's a lifestyle.

I know there's a lot of posts like this but I feel the need to tell people. Only 200k between me and Master Pikeman finally. Sad thing is that I have been playing since day one (well day two really since no one could log in day one), and was one of the first people to post in this forum lol. I had played a pikeman in beta, only made it to novice but I got hooked.

I'm not big on grinding or using pets to tank, so that's why it has taken me so long to reach it. I'll be glad to join the ranks of the other Master Pikeman though. Problem is figuring out what to do after I get it now lol.

LOL, same here, but in my case it was rangering. I hate seeing people level up faster than me, especially when I started the profession before they did, but that's the way of things.

Well did it finally. Enjoying the increased accuracy and speed a lot too. Still haven't figured out what to do now though. I was looking through the trees and saw that riflemen get a good bit of block skill too, wondering if that would be a good addition to my already high block (if it even works currently...). Anybody have experience with this?

Currently in the Scout tree, I have 4/3/4/3, which means I still have to get trapping and survival to IV.

I need help leveling those two. Actually, I can handle survival easily, it'll just take a lot of time... However, trapping has always been a problem for me. It is just too darn hard to get trapping experience, unless someone is willing to tank quenkers for me... And Delta, I have read your guide and it helped me a lot, I just need help on these last two skills. It's already taken me a week trying to get these to IV.

Run around throwing traps at big things who don't deathblow. That will get you some major trapping XP. I'm nearly at Ranger trapping 4. Gurks on Lok give about 370 trap xp per trap, Shaupat hunters on Naboo give something like 280, and bol bolles giveover 300. Throw severaldifferenttraps at the same creature. Also, use a phenacine dart first to snare them that way you can throw traps without them beating on you. Thenburst run away when they come at you.
