I have no beef with holo hunters but i'm just wondering if anyone else chose pike first?

Man I hate 56k....

Started out wanting to go BH in beta, until an NPC with a staff started beating on me. Cool looking styles made me drool, and I said "I WANNA GO PIKE!" Then I kept playing a while, decided the game was too buggy and boring in it's state then, and left. Just joined again, as a pikeman. Woot

At first I wanted to be carbineer but for some reason after 2 weeks I quit and went right to pikeman.

Hope fully that qualifys lol.

Came onboard as a pikemanafter creating my character inbeta because, hell, it was unique; not a combat class I was expecting to find in a game base on "Star Wars".

I droppedout after the game when live. Then I pickedup a retail copy a few months ago and went right back to Pikeman.

I knew I wanted to be a brawler out of the box.

Started my game off beating up the swoops that used to infest mos entha (my starting city shortly after launch), about the 10th one dropped a wood staff.

I've been a pikeman since then.

P.S. Me and several of my friends were killed many, many times by those desert swoopers. We had no clue what consider was, or that there was easier things to kill out in the desert. Its pretty embarrassing though to look back and remember getting owned by the equivalent of a meatlump.

I didn't know a whole lot about the game before I got it....I knew a bit but most of it was just PR stuff they threw at us pre-launch.

I started out as a crafter (ugh!) and then quickly got marksman. Wasn't untill 2 weeks after launch I figured out they had brawlers in the game (was in dearic so not too many people around) and my initial thought was "huh? sw is about blasters not fists!"

But then quickly got tired of sitting behind pre-nerf probots and just clicking a button. One of my friends was a pikewoman at that time and she was doing much better han I ever had fighting, so I followed her lead, and have loved it ever since

A week or so before the end of beta, I decided I was gonna go pikeman for release. I played with pikes a bit, but once I got a pair of VKs and my unarmed xp started rolling in, I went TKM. I eventually deleted that char, and remade myself as a pikeman. Hit master a month or so later.

Well before i got the game i saw my friends playing, saw what professions the game had and thought wow pikes cool!

And i dont intend to change from it.... well not for quite a while anyway.

Brawler out of the box, saw pikeman fell in love....I make out with my moniter regularly when weilding my LVA..tasty

Pike since beta. Saw a screenshot even before I got into beta and was like that is one sweet looking weapon (LVA). Got in beta and picked up pike. Joined up right at release and started pike the minute someone crafted me a pole and just a while later I was master and been so ever since.

i started out for the first 3 weeks as a wookie carbineer, but i got tired of being a wookie and not getting to wear clothes that i wanted to, so i made a new character and chose to be a pikeman this time around
