Thread: Answer to our question....
From a more philosophical game design point of the discussion, I agree that Axkva Min is indeed a challenging target and that the Pikeman covet the Energy Lance because basically, it gives Pikeman a useful (now thats debateable)and much desired weapon. The answer however is not to lower the challenge of Axkva Min and make a treasured weapon easy to come by, but rather, the goal is to raise the effectiveness of the other Pikeman weapons and specials so that Axkva Min’s loot remains a fun and exciting adventure but doesn’t ham string the Pikeman by making that their only viable solution. So, no, we are not going to nerf Axkva, but rather, place a strong focus on the Pikeman profession in the Combat Balance as they deserve (which would include giving Pikemen a weapon or ability so that they could participate in these types of Night Sister Raids).
I am disappointed in the fact that he thinks the Energy Lance is useful but the 2nd part sounds promising.

Well , seeing as the indication is that Axkva herself is not being changed...she is onlyattackable by energy , blast and restraint (excluding DOTs) If we get a craftable energy weapon thenthe lance becomes a showpiece , nothing more (some would argue this is already the case). So that leaves blast or restraint, /shrug , toss a coin.
As for the other option , a new move , i have no idea what that might be. Maybe walk up to her , go prone and /howl PLEASE give me the schem and motors Axkva PLEEASE!

1. A damage that nothing except for maybe some NPC force powers use

I think some grenades do restraint damage, but Im not sure on that.

TH: All issues with the CSR tickets will be adressed in the Combat Balance.

All I want is a date, say ESTIMATED... HOPING FOR.... SHOOTING AT, I dont realy care, but an EST until we're finaly fixed would be great from the dev's. And "in roughly 3 months time" does not count IMHO.

This wasthe part I had a little trouble dissecting. How would the energy lance ever "hamstring" us (or the attempt to loot?) and what does he mean by saying the energy lance could somehow be made to be our "only viable solution"? What does that mean?Is he thinking the NSEL is really good? Or is he saying there might be another "solution" to getting the NSEL? It's so cryptic.
