This is so depressing. I've spent what seems like ages hunting Nightsisters in order to aquire a pike of this caliber. Then tonight I looted it off an Elder. Well just now I took to a smuggler only to get hit with a 20% speed slice.
Don't get my wrong this is still an amazing weapon its just the thought of how incredibly dominant it could have been in pve. Anyone else have some similar experiences? Please tell me so I feel better.

Have yet to manage to loot an uber damage weapon so cant really empathise on the slicing note. Unlucky my friend.
However, I did manage to loot a 400 damage VL the other day with 280 condition. Got it sliced for 33% damage (yay). Then got it repaired and it broke.......

Sorry to hear it.
885 damage is still pretty nice, though. I have a 665 damage LVA that I got a speed slice on , and I have +14 polearm speed. I was out damaging master rifleman at the tusken FT, lol.

i got a speed slice on my 707 and my 850 (my 850 is now my grind to master pike :smileytongue
but luckily i finally got a damage slice on my 1054 so it's now 1330. be glad you looted one of that caliber, as i have had to buy all of mine.

Nope, I've only ever sliced my own pikes (when I was still a Master Smugger), and my only high damage pike of 600+ got a 32% damage slice. It's now 868. So can't say I've ever gotten a bad slice on one.

It's not so bad. Just pretend that you looted a 655 pike and got a 35% damage slice on it. SWEET!

I'll try to do that Jawa but in the back of my mind I'll keep thinking this coulda been a 1100+ dmg pike lol. Oh well. I did hit my BH fried for over 2k dmg in pvp while testing it lastnight. Thats not so bad lol.

Lord, what does a simple pikemon have to do to get one of these?!? I have killed crappy chicks but the resists on the big ones are 100% and too much for me! Argh! very frustrating. I am fighting with a non-uber 148-511 high ham LVA.
I will have to do a search for the thread on which sisters to kill for the best loot. Is that still valid or has it changed? I was gone for about 5 months...

I've gotten a 18% speed slioce on both a 717 and 621. So yeah, I feel your pain.
