Thread: do much damage on eldrs with NSEL?

assuming u are speedcapped. Would u be able to hurt ns elders good with the enrgy lance? I dont think soloing is possible (?)but maybe with a tkm tank and come added dots?
I am not much of a "show off" so I would only get one if it could be useful. I know Id be better of with swordsman but hell I like pikeman to much

i think soloing may be possible using dots... i've stacked over 500pts in poison/fire on actino .. add in bleeds ... and leghits .. may be doable .. but ya better loot somethign really good or that wear/tear on that 7 mil weapon will be for naught..

In a word: NO
I'm a speed-cappede piker and swordie and I wouldn't even consider using my NSEL, which is just a "wow look at me" toy anyway.
You will destroy your NSEL and only manage to annoy the elder. If you want to hunt elders, you have 2 choices: Swordsman or Rifleman.

i'm speedcapped and thought it would be fun to elder hunt with my nsel. 
it doesn't work. i ended upDoT stackin' with my other lances untill i got bored and left.

oki well I guess that an answer good as non. guess I just dot then while a rifleman or carbineer or seomthing take her down

stun batons aren't the problem .. it's the powerhammer weilding bi%ch#s ... cascade of hated for 8464 pts dammage your armor has stopped 6428

Solo'ed an elder as m-doc/m-pike/1000 scout with my energy lance (was unsliced at the time at like 300-ish damage). Took about 500 BF and all I got was credits, needless to say I don't do elders anymore solo.

how long did it take. I am master pike cm 4404 so I would dot it anyhow speeding it up a bit (stacked a b and c poisoin + actionfirepikeDOT and bleeds). I know Id be better of with swordsman but I like pike so much better

action poisons+action fires+feign death+forum whorage+rinse and repeat=dead elder (...eventually)
