Hi all,

Can you all give me some tips 'n tricks to help me in PVP? It would be nice to hear your successful (and unsuccessful) techniques against the various classes. I am mainly interested in what specials you all use and in what order. Thanks!

Lunge lunge lunge. In pvp, lunge is your friend since you'll be running around, and you'll have range issues all over the place. If you get close, then try to sweep+hit. Basically, the brawler skills are the most useful, warcry/intimidate/lunge.

Overall I often find myself trying to WarCry, Lunge2(KD) and AreaAttack2(Dizzie/Stun) the target. Also intimidate2 is a real helper with accuracy, as it negates the targets CoB effect.

Oh yeah, something cool you might want to add is a DeathBlow macro:

/howl Finish Him!!!; /pause 1; /deathblow %TT; /retort FATALITY!!!; /pause1; /announce <yourname> Wins!!!

Macro CoB too, so that's one less thing tostress within the PvP combat

Tips? KICK ASS!!!

Oh, more? Do what Antares said. I use lunge 2 almost all the time as everyone runs from me. Like this stupid rifleman/cm dude who tried to head shot me to death but didn't know I was power boosted/muoned/fishaked up. Then after I hit him a few times with my nightsister lance, I nailed him with a warcry and he couldn't do anything. Then one of my lunges connected and down he went. Then I used a spin attack to dizzy him up a bit. After he got up he tried to throw a disease bomb at me but he died before the very first tick.

I don't know why I thought I would write like a valley chic, it just seemed right.

Anyways ... lunge, warcry, and spin attack work best for me. Usually in that order too.

Pikeman are really horrible in PvP right now. I would suggest if you want to at least try it out, definitly get yourself a good buff and some food, otherwise you will kill yourself 10x faster then your oppenent.

Hi, do you have any other combat related professions. What's your character's template and are you willing to change it?

Sorry I'm tired and about ready to head home. /yawns I have a delayed sense of humor when I'm tired...takes like 2 reads and 5-6 seconds to get it.

IMHO lunge 1 is much better than lunge 2 for the simple fact that lunge 2 is a knockdown. lungle 1 forces a kneel and has great range so its perfect for catching up to your prey and setting up your combos. if you do a lunge 2, you knock them down and you wont be able to knock them down again for another 30 seconds so i kinda blows your wad. My best tactic is to lunge 1, run up and area 2 for the dizzy, then sweep 1 for the kd and they stay down. after that spam ph3 with the occasional dizzy and/or warcry and if they do finally get a chance to stand up, guess what, 30 seconds are over and you can sweep em again.

Hummm.... that's the reason I do the Lunge2, to get them KD'ed. Then move in with area2, leghit3s, or whatever one sees fit. To help with the Lunge2s accuracy, you might want to intimidate them for CoBs sake
