Once stacking defenses are gone, Pikemen will be extremely strong iMO.
And after Rebels watched me Solo an ATST in coronet today, I recieved numerous tells asking about how they should become a Pikeman.
Im placing my money down on saying Pikeman will be the FOTM.
Hold on to your extra pikes and SEAs... theyre gonna be worth more.

Other classes can solo things like that more easily and have better defenses as well.

well i soloed 8 bocatts and 6 dragonets today 
btw 1st i soloed 8 bocatts and then i soloed 6 dragonets, when my apprentice told me a ancient kryat has ate him and some dewbacks.

i became ch cuz i wanted to use creatures, right when everyone else was doin it
i became tk cuz pistoleer wasnt cuttin it, right when everyoone else was becomin tkm
now that i made tkm, and i was gunna try out pikeman then fencer and chose which one i liked the most

Be sure to inform those FOTM people that they'll need 90% armor, a doctor friend to buff, a chef friend for food buffs, Master Brawler, Master TKA, and tactics.

What about the HAM changes? Anyone on test center play around with these? I think the HAM costs are what kills us the most...
Withoout armor, fully buffed by doc - and I'm *STILL* lowering my HAM bar drastically with specials ... now *THAT* is funny.
But I think the HAM changes will throw a wrench in the works.. classes that were superior before will be evened out with the classes that sufferred huge HAM costs.. unless of course the HAM consumption remains the same, just out of a different pool... so we do one special and then have to wait for enough stamina to do ANOTHER special ... Commandos and Pikeman would be waiting for hours between specials LOL

Tell your friends to go swordsman instead. They can do blast damage with the power hammer.

Pikeman areall powerfullWITH defence stacking, without defence stacking we will get blinded and owned or kd/dizzy and owned.

I remember when I dreamed of the day fencer would be good enough to be FOTM.
I miss being a rancor snack.
