Th, even though almost all of these people who have replied to your thread as much of a unconstructive, jack's arses... they have the right... I mean comon, I dont even play pikeman, and I know how gimped they are. And you need to uneqp your +100 dev question dodge , Cloak before you make anyboyd else mad.

1) Although I dont want to see playerRoyal Guards running around either, all claim to trying to adhere to "continuity" was thrown out the window when they opened the floodgates on the Jedi population.


2) Pikeman is a hybrid profession? Mix and match classes? Im so stunned by this that I have no idea what to say.


The other questions were "answered" in such a manner that even an especially clever ferret would have been in awe of both its lack of actual substance and its complete avoidance of actually addressing anything pertinent.


Non-answers once again from a guy, who although is probably a very likable person,is seemingly vastly out of touch with both the playerbase and the actual game.

Ok an honest question.... if you can answer TH because I m really curious. Do any dev actually have a clue about why professions were made that way? I mean why do pikeman have 26 thoughtness while tka have 57? What is the reason???


Where is the god **edit** balance when tka hit faster than us, hit harder, tank better, have a whole line which is insanely great ( meditate line)???? What is the reason of being of pikeman then?? Why are you guys asking the god **edit** players what they would like to see for their prof? Players should NOT balance the classes, YOU, the devs should be balancing this. What the hell is this crap where the dev that design this game don't even have a clue about melee class ? Why does it take 8 months to fix something as easy as changing range mod from 55 to 35??? ( thats one **edit** value to change jesus). Why do pikeman STILL have their god **edit** final special on a 3x mod while every one else is on 4 ? This is insane, this game has been out for 8month + and you guys are taking MONTHS to do EASY things and no I don't care about how your game is complex, changing a value in the database doesn't break everything unless your coders are blinded monkeys.


So tired to wait for a fix that is taking months to come. We are paying for a god **edit** beta and SOE is milking us hard. At least EQ devs understand the game, doesn't seems to be the case in this beyond bugged game.

I agree 100% guys. you all need some serious attention in the 'combat pass' or whatever the great grail is that will fix SWG forever. lol. Seriously though..they give out 'continuity reasons' when I can walk through theed, republic blaster in hand, and a graul on my heels, and that's not an issue? lol...Sad TH..really sad. Instead of spewing 'continuity' why not open a thread asking for suggestions HOW it could be allowed? Perhaps if a pikeman can complete the Emperor's Themepark..as a reward he could get a royal guard uniform? After all, they WERE the Emperor's elite dudes supposedly, so why not? or a NEW mini-theme park, for pikemen ONLY. Each part would be one new part of the suit, the final part, of course, the unique helmet.



No I don't have a freakin sig. Just make something up and pretend it's here man. woman. umm...Whatever.

2) The number one pick for a new pikeman weapon at the master level is the Force Pike, the weapon of the Royal Guards. We wish to know if we will be getting this weapon as part of the combat pass and, if not, what new weapon(s) we will be receiving.
The Force Pike is in the game isn’t it? (or something similar? I just worked with Gunman21 to get the stats adjusted as well).


The Royal Guard Vibro Lance is in SWG. SOE just chose to call it Nightsister Lance !?????????????? Another great example of SOE knowledge of StarWars. Before you delete this post as you probably will. Please add this to your "stuff to fix" list

Please tell us what our questions should have been. Instead of flaming an ignored community perhaps you should enlighten us on what we could do? Now I admit that we could have split hairs but what's the point when the answer would have probably been "wait for the combat pass"


That's like telling the Bounty Hunters that their question of "When will droids work on the Jedi" is a "generic" question. (yes I know it's been answered but you see my point)


St Gabriel you are correct. The rant about the scythe didn't get the LVA fixed however I feel the rant STARTED the process. The weapon has been broke for 7 months but it's just now getting fixed. Why? Because we basically ranted a bit after what happened with the scythe and then the devs took and started constructive discussion. At least that's how it looks to me. Of course I'm not in the correspondant's forum so I don't know.


Should we go off the handle and rant. . . no we shouldn't but this profession needs serious help and many pikeman here feel that these answers are very very disappointing.


Again my worst fear is the combat pass will come and go and we will be stuck in a gimped state for another year or so since fixes are so very very slow in this game (it took 7 months to get accuracy mods on the LVA addressed even though we were told it wasn't intended shortly after launch)

I understand that (They are very cool). I doubt the actual Royal Guard uniforms could be added for continuity concerns, but I will ask if either they or something similar can be added.


Lol .... "forcontinuity concerns"? When did you ever start to think about concerns? After you named the Rebel helmet from the movies "Anakin's swoop helmet"? (NPC named Chorbantis gave me this quest item. Mos Espa)


or after you named the Royal guards forcepike the "Nightsisters Lance"?


or maybe after you gave 50% of all Imperial officers pink pants?

I could go on ... but no point in that as the game has been out for so long now and you still keep making strange "continuity" mistakes. And yes this is a constructive post! I'm almost serving you the answers to these mistakes on a plate! Fix your lack of "Continuity" in SWG
