Thread: I need 10 questions to ask the devs
I have onlyone question that I feel has not been asked in the right way yet. Other players have already covered some important ground (lack of defense, illogical weapon range mods,thecontroversial revision of the DOT system,etc) so I would like to deal with some "special sauce" for our profession. Anyway, here 'goes.
1 - Master Pikeman should have the Force Pike as a special weapon. Given the sometimes-serious lack of Star Wars movie "feel" in the game, I personally believe that adding weapons for masters that I saw the Emperor's personal guards carrying would be a thrill. I would be able to say "now this is Star Wars" and enter my credit card number in for another three months of the game. How do you, the DEVs, plan on adding thisessential weapon to our profession? Additionally,these ought to do a different damage type than our existing weapons. I suggest Stun. It seems logical, given what the weapon is.
So that's it from me. Of course, if I had to add one more, it would be this.
2 - A Master Pikeman has studied long and hard to weild an ungainly weapon as well as it can possibly be weilded. Why then are we limited to negative "to-hit" modifiers andhow will this obvious detriment be fixed? Please give details. I'm willing to bet the Emperor's guards don't switch from a Nightsister Lance to a wood staff when they want to do a little PvP.
