i know, i have master brawler as well, and have used that move. But we should have area 3 back, so we can do high damage to whatever is surrounding us

again, this has been given to Pikes for thier crowd control design. You can still dabble of course. Sword and Pike go together nice because they share part of the same novice requirements.

the main reason i asked after reading everything, the thing im confused about is are the creatures standard attacks the area attacks or are the specials tht some of them come with the area attacks, and i hav read every article on the forum about it but im just confused thats all......

I feel your pain! There is a whole lot of information and speculation in the forums, often conflicting ... I have a Stonskin Hanadak that has an area attack ... I know this because if I tell him to attackone member of alow level group like sleemo punks where there are 4 close together, sometimes they all go down at once. I have not had him long enough for him to have any training slots but wonder if I maybe trained him with eye gouge, would he possibly do a area eye gouge? I don't know.

Specials have no bearing on whether the attack is an area attack. A few types of creatures have an area attack as their default, normal attack. Those are listed in those other threads, and tend to be fairly uncommon tames.
In other news: The devs nerf the hell out of commando fs-grinders, and they end up... Here?! Yippie!

The Blood-Frenzied Boar Wolf babies are indeed spawning. I picked one up a week ago. Nasty kinetic damage area attack.

right thnx alot tht clears it up a bit, i just tamed a spider thing i got on endor and it seems to hav an area attack as its default attack so my creature handler xp-fs grind should now go a bit quicker
