I have been a Master Pikeman forever. I started the pike road, on the second day of release, and I held on to the Master title throughout my holo-grind.
Upon reflection, I can't for the life of me figure out why.
As a TKA master, I could trash just about anything, solo, and I could buff and heal myself.With a rifle, I can hide in the grass and shoot things 64m away, and they don't even realize that their mind is bleeding. As a master marksman, I can do a 3 HAM bleed, in about 4 seconds. As a commando, I can burn anything to a cinder, and stand toe-to-toe with most targets, and they rarely hit me.
I don't have anything good to say about carbine, at least as far as carbine IV.
As an unbuffed pikeman, wearing armor (god forbid I have Ubese on when a bad guy pulls out a rifle), I just can't last against many things. My own specials kill me. I can run circles around a Tusken Warlord, with my flamethrower, hitting flame 4, with a big flame delay, and survive quite nicely. Same situation, pike in hand, I end up in the clone, way more often.
On the plus side, I still enjoy putting a room full of Tuskens on their a$$, with a sweep.
Thats all I have to say about that.
biwan: MohrRiflemen got the disruptor rifle, and are getting another rifle with the next patch.
Pistoleers got the featherweight FWG5, enhanced republic blaster, and geonosian stun pistol.
Fencers got looted sword cores that can increase their damage considerably.
Carbineers have Nym's slug thrower, which isn't nearly on par with the others but is at least attainable.
We got a minor improvement to a weapon that requires killing a 450k ham nightsister who's 100% resistant to both our damage types multiple times to even have a chance of acquiring. And its main use is just looking cool.

What kind of crappy armor are these sisters wearing that has no stats?
I didn't even get much satisfaction out of destroying the damned thing. I should have put it in my house as a conversation piece. "Oh hey, look at this POS I looted off a nightsister. Sweet huh?"
Oh well tomorrow is another day.

or you could have auctioned it for about a million credits. no clue why, but people want these things.
Actually, onour server the bidding for them starts around 5 mil and usually ends up between 10-15 mil.
I just posted this crap to see how many people would be calling me a dumbass saying how much of a fool that I am.
I didn't work too well. I guess people don't know how much its worth or don't care if I'm that much of an idiot.

and i haven't seen them go for that high recently. usually 1-3 mil is what i see them going for. i have 3 in my bank, maybe i should start up an auction
