i've tested out what u guys have said, and i actually do more damage to the kimo with my long vibro axe, using regular attack, then i do with the VK's, spamming unarmedhit2.......and i said at the beginning log on and send me a message, and u can sit and watch all u want.....=)

Look, I'm glad you could do this.

However, your melee defense and ranged defense are considerably more heightened with TKA skills that you have also learned.

So your initial post should have said, "look at your skills and buy some TKA before you whine"

all u masters need to look at polearm action hit 2 before u whine

im only typing this in cause the thread is wayoff point he soloed it HOORAY but lemme see him do it without master brawler and nov tka cause thats what most of the people complaining are the four poles in brawler and the rest in pikeman .

I seen you wet them. this is how the situation comes to a head.

ok here's my 2ç

first of all, im not a pikeman but a master brawler-tka-doc combo but ive witnessed the whole pike career of my friend, and yes there are many troubles with pikesand there are also many good things about pikes. we made the best out of what we could... and she is enjoying the pikeman profession.

never mind that shes always buffed up and has a doc-master brawler to help out, she is enjoying the profession, doing some cool damage and animations, and isnt enjoying what you do all that matters...

some pple forget the point of this game which is fun.

and as apake said, he used pikeman and master brawler skills to solo the kimo.. I've been up vs a kimo before, and as daniel pointed out, its very ham intensive... with no bleeds, but we tkas can take more punishment. id say tho that itd be much easier soloin a kimo with a class with good bleed attack and medium pierce hits then a class with no pierce ( or light pierce at cost of sick ham)

Don't guarantee something you have absolutely no idea about.A master Swordsman will not be able to do it 20 times easier, neither will a master Fencer. As for master TKA, it might be faster, but it also be a lot more ham intensive, since they have no bleeds.

i see valid points from both sides. i love pikeman (my first mastered profession) and still have it. ive since mastered TK... mostly from the same frustrations most pike(wo)man have with the profession. im currently enjoying having both professions since each have there strong points. IMO TK is a much stronger/complete class than pikeman.. but where it lacks (medium armor piercing/bleeds/electric dmg) pikeman comes in real handy. i cant wait to see some of the pike improvements with this next patch... and hope that the dev's continue to throw some more love our way.

btw - i also agree that with the comment about his LVA.. if i had that weapon i would be using pikeman ALOT more.
