Heres something all of you people are missing;
ITS FUN TO FLAME PEOPLE!!!
You could just ignore it and go on with your day, but its more fun to let the guy posting know how much of an idiot you think he is.
If he has any cojones, he'll blast back with a response telling you how much of a jerk you are and everyone has a good old time.
Furthermore, most people (myself included) couldn't give a spit one way or another. Sometimes we'll post stuff just to get flamed and have a good laugh about it.
Just because someone flamed you, doesn't mean he thinks you're a fool or a dumbass. He could just be having a good time.
I think everyone is missing the point here.
If you don't like a post, or a post's topic, DON'T READ IT.
Do you idiots who flamd Slipp realize that they have now wasted FAR more of everyone's time by being pricks, than if they just ignored Slipp's post and let it "slipp"to the next page?
Or are the Pikeman boards so active with posts that you can't keep up with it as it is, without posts like this? Considering all the other boards are about as fast as molasses lately, I'd have to say I find that highly unlikely.
Here's the deal, if you don't like a post that someone puts, instead of being an **edit** about it, just ignore it. That way EVERYONE is happy. If seeing one or two posts that you don't think are in their proper place gets to you so much that you feel the need to be a jerk, then might I suggest you have some serious issues?
And this doesn't apply just to Pikemen, or BHs, or Gorathians. It's to everyone.

Pick any thread, on any forum and you will see 10 times worse than the lil spark you got here. OMG I got flamed, guys come to the pike forum and help me!!!
Really though, the reason why you do not see as much of this type of post is because we have managed to beat everyone who sneaks past Clab, back to their respective trade forums. You need to understand the fundamental problems with all of this.
We, as a profession RELY on looted weapons to see our full potential. Looted weapons which are horded by the greedy, sold to greedy non pikemen, only to be resold at some unknown later date at a jacked up price to a desperate 'real' pikeman. Constant posts like this on a fairly organized board are our only place to apply the frustration, which can no longer be applied towards the developers, (for example, search "Thunderhearts reply to pikeman 10-questions").
Regardless, the post is officially, and understandably listed WFN. I can say 'you suck', or 'my friend, please refrain from posting here with irrelevant information'. However the fact is, within 2 minutes of looking on your trade forum you would have found someones auction which could be easly compared to the item you hold for pricing purposes. Yet, with this realization not too far off, and without examining any prior threads regarding this topic on this forum (which would have givin you the idea to walk away). You go blatently WFN on us. You get informed with the type of response that only a pikeman can provide, as obviously all of your friends have been aggro'd. And now call us jackasses, children, bastards, etc. etc. etc. /shrug

Trying to sell a pike on this board, refer to my post above, as such none of you want to attempt to disassemble so I can flame you for being an idiot, well, take that pike, sit on it, and **edit**....

We have a want and desire to keep this forum from looking like Coronet starport on a saturday afternoon. If no-one can understand that and wants to use anything they can grasp in an attempt to prove themselves better, and us as the bad guys...your right. Now go to the trade forums and **....... <------figure it out yourself.
We will float this thread for as long as persons who have nothing to do with the issue other than to provide us with thier ohh so amazing insight post in it. Also to serve as a further deterrent to other WFN's who are interested in making a few quick credits off of the pike community. Continue to bash our members, when you log off the forums go tell your signifigant other what **edit** we are. Matter of fact, set them up on the forum to tell us what **edit** we are too. You can feel as if justice has been served and maybe you will sleep that much better tonight. OR you can just **edit** off.

Perhaps this guy doesn't know who he's messing with.... Trust me, this "April Fool's Day" could just as easily turn into another "Valentine's Day" for me.
