Thread: 600+ Damage Long Vibro Ax, Medium AP
Hey, I'm just glad it's someone other than me taking the flak lately.
I can just sit back and laugh in peace.

Actually, if you ask ANY Pikeman related question besides what is this pike worth, post an auction thread etc you will find most of the people here quite helpful.

The Alpacas fully agree with this statement, the pikemen community overall is one of the more informative ones with a wide variety of perspectives on the class and how it fits into the game. We're just tired of half the posts on the front page being about price checks on what would be a mediocre player crafted pike ![]()

no not every1 is happy b/c i still have to see the damn **edit**ing "how much it worth" posts on the front of the page, & i want the to **edit**ing go away even if no1 ever posts again.....btw plz don't respond to this or bump it any more & if you do just more flaming will come
Obviously you're still missing my point. You have serious problems if it bothers you SO much to even SEE a "how much is it worth" post.
Guess what...you have the power to read the next post and completely ignore the posts you don't want to read! It's that simple. Really it is.
Bumped or not, truly, how much of your life is wasted skimming to the next post? Half a second? 1 second? Good God, TWO SECONDS???
Simmer down, friend, relax about things. Contrary to what you'd like to believe, the world does not conform around you. There are instances where you need to just accept some things without being a **edit** about it. I suggest reading Heidegger's "Being and Nothingness". You have a lot to learn about "Das Ein".

Funny thing, just a few days ago I went into a chat room and asked a question. Apparently people didn't assume I did my homework before asking my question..and ended up being flamed by more than one individual. In the end, my problem wasn't my fault and was a bug in X and my drivers/kernel.
The point I'm trying to make is that it's much easier to just ignore a post that you are 'sick of seeing', instead of flaming the person for it. I've worked in IRC chat rooms for linux for well over 2 years now, and I hear the same questions over and over again. It doesn't help them, nor does it help the environment of the room to flame at them. Someone, in this thread, posted a good link to where to paste this information at.
JLG88, seriously there are way too many mean people in this game and in other areas of the internet. Have you noticed that by flaming at others you probably got yourself angry, blood pressure increasing, etc? That's not a good thing. If you're bothered by individual posts that are just 'too much for you to handle', you may want to set individual people to the ignore list (I believe you can set this through the options menu when reading the individual message). By doing this, you can take care of two problems. The first problem is to not hurt yourself by getting angry all the time you read these boards, and the second is to potentially post more helpful posts for people. By doing this, I think you would help yourself and others.
Everyone though, seriously....lets not flame at people for simple little things. I've read these boards a lot, and yes I see a lot of duplicate posts, but I don't go around flaming at people. I will, though, post some helpful comments to people that are totally aimed as none-offensive, like this message.

It's the rare person like you that spreads good karma in the world. Even if it's only a little bit, sometimes that's all it takes.
I couldn't agree with anything you said more. Very very well put ![]()
