A "pure" master pikeman with no other combat professions, no loot, and no attachments will lose in a duel to a "pure" master of another combat profession with no other combat professions, no loot, and no attachments 90% of the time, given that they both know what they're doing. Any intelligent ranged fighter won't even let you get close enough to hurt him.
This doesn't mean we're the worst combat profession by any means, but in our basic form we're not at all suited to PvP.
We've been blinded by loot.

It should'nt be like that! You should'nt have tohave the best stufh to actually win...right now i have just pure pike no master brawler no sea's just a 478 LVA and a 399 Vl and tkm's bow to me (because like otherr FOTM, there so predictable)

Pikemen suck? Tell that to the 12 Elite Master ProfRebels that took 10 minutes to dislodge me from a forward outpost last night.

To the guy saying TKMs bow to him, i'd like to know how, How many skill tapes do you have? whats your strongest dot? How bad do these TKMs on your server suck?
It's called KD2 friend, that's all he has to do to beat you, hell he could just spam hit 3 and win.
LMAO, I LOVE how you say you use tactics, what tactics? lol There are none in this game, especially with pikeman, DoT and run away? You can intim, stun, dizzy, and KD. Even with that, TKMS still tear me apart, please explain these wonderful magical tactics.
Oh my god, I hate you, and everyone on your server.. Your posts have made me far past annoyed.
You've stated 3 time in this thread that you're such a great pikeman and can take TKMs blah blalh blah, but not once have you shared these tactics, explain some of the duels you have with these TKMs that fall to the might of your slow speeds horrible accuracy and low damage.
I feel like Im taking crazy pills...

i have some uber weapons
250 mind poison
150 mind fire
a 840 max damage LVA @ 1.3 speed
plus +11 speed
that makes me a good pikeman for killing the things i needed to for the loot..... i am sorry but what makes a good rifleman? tapes? tissues? ummmm yes!!! What makes a good CM, spidervenom............ the list goes on..... looted weapons are all we have considering our crafted weapons are so poor, and the NSEL really sucks

ok look... i know pistols are not very great in pvm...
but they sure kick @$$ in pve and pvp
in pve we have ranged damage mitagtion and defence
in pvp we really do well... all you have to do to own a pike man is simple...
-use healthshot1 and 2 both on them they will bleed twice as much and there health bar will pulumit.
now...
-befre they can hit you run in a big scale circle arounds them and trick them and dont use any other specials... just shoot him like normal...
run around and shoot and his health bar HAM will die nuff said.
the end of the piker i win...
bleeding him to death is they key
also when we get our fix we will do well

Your way out of line. Sure pikeman isn't very good at pvp, but the many who stick with it enjoy it. Just because you didnt appeal to it doesnt mean everyone else wants to hear your greif.

.....what idiot has 4 novice professions? and i hope thats an unbuffed fight your talkin about. dont ever assume the pikeman to be pure, he could shove in some fencer for the dizzy/kd defense, and all it takes is first aid 2 for those bleeds to go away. and pistoleer is only good in low end pve, **edit** is pvm?

Typical spam kd2 if you knew that there's so many things to stop that you wouldnt waste your time spamming it. Come to bria ill show good pikemen. No I dont have SEA's NO I barely use my mind poison. And have a 478+ (Around there LVA) and i still win.....IF you COULD pvp you know where a high kin or chest and tkm's wont do anything to you.If your a pike your what I call a pike whiner like so many other's cant eem to play the proffession, so if your a pike and suck dont TELL ME who I cant and cannot kill. And there are tactic's in pvp not my fault your thought process cant comprehend and execute them NUB

Some would say pike is just that. TKMs had their day, high kinetic resist composite ended that day.
