If you don't like it, don't play it. Go do something else. At Polearms 4, you're not going to be doing a whole lot anyways, but frankly, if you're not even starting to like it by then, you probably won't. Go stack, or take up rifleman (although you probably won't survive that grind either). But don't come whine.

no i can assure im not that loser..........he is rather ignorant i mean really he says do tkm lmfao tka grind is one of the lamest professions to grind i know ive done it on 2 servers with no back up combat xp this guy just needs to realize that you have to master the profession to get acc and speed and to top it off ive done pikeman with no back up combat xp worst **edit** next to rifleman with no back up combat xp this guy just tried to start some **edit** and got his foot caught up in his mouth

Anyone that thinks pikeman is poor in pvp come to farstar just make a new toon and send a tell to any of the following people Ninja, Piet, Laughing, Tedde, Kazumasa (me). We can all use pike in pvp and are pretty mean to duel against.
Im sick of people moaning on every proffession board about how bad proffessions are in pvp, every single one of them is good if you get the right equipment and lean how to use the proffession.
Granted tkm you can pretty much master and go but other proffessions like pike take a little time to get used to then you are gonna be pretty damn mean.

I dueled a TKM yesterday and we were both buffed and unarmored and its the best duel i have had, ever!! And the best thing about it was the fact that 1 won (Well he /endduel with 50 mind left) He got 1 dizzy knockdown to stick and i managed to get all mine to stick 
I'm master Pikeman with no attachments and was only using brandy and a normal LVA.

I have a 700 damage LVA and I can't even scratch TKMs, I intimidate, I stun, I dizzy, I try the KD, It doesnt mean anything, I do crap damage and they come back at me with a quick KD2 and a repeated hit3.
I can't see how you beat a TKM, he must of sucked hardcore.
Unbuffed, Normal LVA? So you were getting 100+ Ham costs per swing? You are swinging at 2+ speeds? And with melee mitigation 3 the TKM cant be taking much damage from you, with my 500 dmg pike I only hit them for around 150. TKMs hit me for 250-300, Yeah... he sucked hardcore.
Ok, I dont care who you are, If you dont have skill tapes, or uber dot pikes, YOU WILL NOT BEAT A SKILLED TKM OR FENCER!!! IT'S IMPOSSIBLE!! TKM=KD2, stun, intimidate, oh hey, even worse damage and you're on your back! FENCER: Blind, intim, dizzy, lunge, Hey worse accuracy, and once again, on your back! It doesnt take that much skill to beat the average pikeman.
I love this proffession, And I will never drop it. But I can admit that it is a total uber piece of **** compared to others.
Whatever, flame me, say I dont know how to use this proffession/Im too poor.

do you have speed and acc tapes
you tried to area attack 2 then area sweep 2
then with the dizzy do hit 3 to posture change while they are dizzy
pikeman deserve as much toughness as tkm
tkm is lame its the little kid i press 2 buttons to win profession...maybe 3 if they intimadate

Thats just the thing, not everyone has the money to get speed and accuracy tapes, they are rare as hell to loot, and now they will be even harder to get since NS got their powers back.
And trust me, I do area 2 each time for the stun and dizzy, I might intim before that though, or I might KD them first so i have time for another special, it's all hopeless if they know what the hell they are doing.

Yeah, they have it worse than us. But still, I've started this profession about 3 weeks ago, and I love the fact that you actually have to use tactics and equipment to win. It's not the most uber profession, nor does it have an "I win" button. You actually have to play it, not just spam 3 attacks and hope it works. TKM's are sad, they are good, but they only use certain attacks. Variety is nice
