Personally, I love TK because the Innate Armor is superb and never decays. The other bonus is that the CoB means you can take a load of damage and act as a really effective tank. All I am trying to find out is in practice, are Pikes better than Swords for PvE.

I had Master Pikeman, Master Doctor, Master Medic, and changed to Master Pikeman, Master Doctor, and 0040 Swordsman, and I absolutely LOVE it. Advanced armor break with the Kaminioan Staff and adrenaline buffs, is great.

get doc 4000, and get bio engineered clothes for TN, around +17 or 18

Is that a combat level 80?






nope its only CL74m which will realy only effect you in solo pve or the very high end pve, as with PvP the Cl only determines your total health you can have


got to www.bloodfin.org, for a prof calc that now also helps calculate your CL (think there is some minor bugs, but nothing major with the Cl calcs)

this is why I chose TKM to go with Mpike:


TKM offers (besides innate armor):


+70 Melee def


+55 ranged Def


+60 general acc


+20 general speed


+500 health


A single target sweep that practically never misses


advanced combo attack, 2.8 multiplier with a very fast cooldown


CL 80 which is a nice bonus


plus im also hearing rumors that innate armor will soon be immune to armor break



And to be perfectly honest, I like the innate armor for the simple fact that I can stand out from the rest of the armor wearing players. SWG allows a player to have a unique look and style. Thats why I prefer to wear a cool looking outfit and swing a bladestick, I just looks cool.

I was mpike/mhs/4xxxdoc for a long time, i decided to mix it up a bit and moved things around a little, Mpike/Mhs/Mbrawler/tkax1xx/medicxx4x, mind you I have +25 in healing efficiency so i hit for 950 bacta shot, ill test it out today see if I can manage

My template is all messed up right now (currently master ranger and banking heightened senses xp). I am VERY curious to see exactly how much a bacta shot with +25 healing efficieny heals for at xx4x medic. please let me know how it comes out. If its good enough, I wouldnt mind picking up master brawler again.

Something a little different.


MP/swords xx34/cm 4x22


stack the thyroid and warcry = -80 spd

improved intim. = i think it's 40% reduction

traumatize and hemorhage for regen debuff (since all they will really be able to do is heal)

electolyte drain for long timered snare


the only question I have about this is the dmg output. I've never been a master pike but I know from the numbers are quite slow. With your opponent at -80 speed though I would think you could work around that without too much of a problem to outdamage their healing.


the other thing i'd miss from this is the adv. cob. but again they are going to be so slow that their dmg output is going to be horrendous.


Ranged opponents could potentially be a problem though. Thundercloud only goes so far.
