Thread: stacking dots,how to know the second sticks?

Truly... forgive me but I fail tosee how stacking dots is an exploit. It was programmed in game. I was never a CM, so that may be where my ignorance lies... but if you have the ability to stack dots in pvp, then why not do it? You better believe that your opponent is going to use every weapon in his or her arsenol.

Alright,


well lets start here... this is my vote for 5 things we can do to improve pikeman.


1) Let pikemen get a good attack bonus while mounted on an animal. (kind of like jousting. You know knights, lances.)

2) Let Pikemen have an exceptional increase to damage. We're suppose to be the heavy cleavers. I mean come on.

3) Give pikemen 1 more weapon damage type. As of now we have Electricity and Kinetic, and if you're lucky, you alo have Energy from the NSEL.

4) Make some changes to the specials, some of them don't seem to do anything special... an become obsolete at higher levels. This is not true for other classes. Along with that, how about a little more toughness?

5) For the love of god.............................. Put more NPC pike trianers in the game. I only know of one... and its the guy near MSG crowley in Kor Vella, and the cantina. As it is I have to find player cities or players with pike skills.



Other than that, I think Pikemen works pretty good.... I'm 4-0-3-4 right now, and hope to master within a couple of weeks.

I absolutely agree with 2 and 4. I'd love to see us hit harder, and we need to have specials that are worth using (replace spin2, for instance).

Perhaps just making the NSEL more attainable (not on the order of the scythe, but much better than currently) would help the damage type issues? That would at least eliminate the total inability to damage certain things. Carbineers really need some attention along these lines too.

For the trainers, check the FAQ sticky at the top. There are several other NPC city trainers, most of them just lay off the beaten path a bit.

well the way i do it is:


hit them with 63% potncy mind fire then equip mind poison lance and land that on them. It has 75% potency and im speed capped. works pretty well. they both stick


only used in pvp tho
