I just got a rather stern PM informing me that I shouldn't be interfering in Pikeman business, since I'm not your Correspondent. I'm sorry that i caused a problem, as it was not my intent. I think very highly of you guys, and just wanted to help out while Gunman21 couldn't get online. But I didn't want to upset anyone.

I need to unsticky this since I shouldn't have stickied it in the first place. I do not wish anyone to think that I am "trying to move in on Pikemen territory," so I will quietly bow out. I'm sure Gunman will sticky it if he wants it stickied.

You have done nothing but assist and supplement our forum with positive ideas and suggestions. There is a large difference betweenhelping and interefring with the intention to "take over", and you have by no time done the latter one. Thanks a lot for your help and wonderful assistance in this time where we have been without our Correspondent(which is still at hand).

I hope you don't regard one persons voice as the voice of the entire community as I am sure most, and almost all of pikeMen are more than gratefulfor your commitment to help out Gunman21.

heh Gunman just floated it on his own so it looks stickyed to him, im sure he didnt realize this but yea, to him itll always look stickyed but for the rest of us anyway hopefully he will sticky, it you may PM him on how to sticky it

Hell, it's nice to see that anyone out there actually cares. Given that our basiccapacity as Pikemenright now is aimlessly manipulating our sticks until we get tired and fall down (double meaning intentional), most people wouldn't have done anything.

Q: what are some good Macros to use as a pikeMan or generally to support?

A: There are so many macros, and so many personal preferences. However, sincethis isa combat class, you might wanna keep your combat macros short and effective:

Macroname: bleed

/polearmactionhit1; /polearmactionhit2; /howl Bleed!!!;

Macroname: center

/centerofbeing; /pause 36; /macro center;

note: this macro loopsCoB,and you need to calculate how much duration yougot as this is how long the pause should be

Macroname: initiatecombat

/ui action toolbarPaneXX; /ui action toolbarSlotYY; /attack %TT; /howl For Uthgardt!!!;

note: this macro switches to a toolbar(XX ranging from 00 to 05), equips your weapon(YY ranging from 00 to 23) and attacks current target (%TT).

Macroname: spice

/ui action toolbarSlotXX; /pause 540; /tell self 1 minute left of Spice; /pause 30; /tell self 30 secs left of Spice; /pause 20; /tell self 10 secs left of Spice;

note: this macro uses the spice you have set to the chosen toolbarSlot(XX ranging from 00 to 23).

Macroname: loot

/loot %TT; /harvest XX;

note: this macro loots you current target(%TT) and harvests it for possible resources(XX ranging between meat, bone and hide).

Macroname: deathblow

/howl Finish him!; /deathblow %TT; /retort Fatality!; /ui action targetSelf; /announce %TT wins!;

Macroname: heal

/heal self;

Macroname: grindexpe

/ui action targetSelf; /ui action cycleTargetOutward; /taunt; /attack; /pause 1; /macro grindexpe;

note: this macro allows you to stand on a static spawning ground attackingunlimited until you die and clone.

...I have probably missed a lot of macros, but this should be a good start and give some ideas Here's a link to the commands available for macroing.

Q: what order should i do the trees in?

A: go for defense 1 for the kd. then offense 1 for LH2. then go through stances to 4 for speed. finish up defense. finally go through offense. (i like this way the best)

i still prefer rotating def/stance then offense for the order

Here's a dumb question: do /polearmactionhit1 and /polearmactionhit2 stack?

Also, ppl starting out in melee really should migrate their stats. IMO, chuck as much into Strength for damage and balance the rest as needed.

Yes they do.

I dont think thats wise myself. I personally dump it all into M/F/W and either get buffed or heal myself.
