well master bralwer give you lunge 2 ( very good KD) it also give you +5 twohanded speed as well and intemitate 2 which is very good , warcry is isnt great anymore but you can use it to peace , so yes i think it is worth it

actually my experience with running away has been extremely bad. nowadays everyone and their pet chimp is a rifleman. the farther you run away from a rifleman the easier you are to hit.
if you are fighting a rifleman, stay as close as you can get, CoB, blind, dizzy, then posture down. running away is simply suicide

Ok, i got capped melee def, capped def vs. posture change(down) and capped kd def. i have ranged mitigation 2, melee mitigation 3, and effectiveness sliced armor, so I am 100% A-ok in the defense department. My VK is a 220 max and I use 15% powerups in duels(I know they can go up to a little over 16% but that's not a real issue). My question is what can i do for more damage(CA-wise). I understand unarmed dmg CAs dont work. Do KD CAs that help you KD(not def vs. KD) exist? I don't think so since there isn't a KD mod in my list. Any tips on what to do for more damage(besides a 235 max VK, or better PUPs, or DoTs) is much appreciated. And please dont say to go become a rifleman or swordsman

Well, if your unarmed damage is maxed and you don't want a higher damage VK there's not much more you can do for more damage.....
You mentioned BE enhanced clothing. You can get clothes which give you a bonus to warcry and intimidation, so that may be useful, seeing as TK is more about inflicting adverse states on your enemy than causing huge amounts of damage quickly.

You have all the bases covered I'd say. The Unarmed damage SEA's don't work, and there's no solid indication as to if they'll ever be fixed.
I have never seen an SEA that adds to Knockdown, and even if there was, I would bet it would only increase your odds of scoring a knockdown on your opponent.
The only thing you can do to add more damage is to eat Rakririan Burnout Sauce. It is a food made by chefs that can give you a temporary +25 (I'm not sure if this is from a 12 point chef or not) boost to your unarmed damage.
A lot of people use it during combat situations, it can give you the slight edge you're looking for.

Hey all.
I was recently thinking about trying my hand in some PvP. Now - I'm a non-combat master with my Master Smuggler, so I'm pretty much limited to the Smuggler Abilities only.
Anyone got any good strategies against a ranged opponent like a Rifleman? or Carbineer/BH?
I tried to use knockdown (i love pistol whipping people) in conjunction with Panic Shot and Low Blow, but I really dont get very far before I'm suddenly at 5% health - then I'll Last Ditch and I only get the guy to maybe 25% H in the end.
Ideas?

I loooooove last-ditch. Only used it a couple of times but 1st time was on a Jedi friend and I incapped him when he got my health low enough (he was full health) and again on a target Jedi (BH mission) but he got back up as I didn't realise the new DB timer had come into effect. It's only the DB timer that stops me hunting/PvPing now...
if it looks like you may lose, I normally go low blow, panic shot, last ditch... seems to get em...
