What materials are needed to construct a Vibro Axe? In your experience, what qualities affect which stats?
What is generally the best accuracy one can expect from such a weapon? Damage?
I am currently a pikeman so I am asking for my profession, but I am also an aspiring artisan and trying to learn more about the craft. Thanks!
Do you mean Long Vibro Axe? There is a Vibro Axe - I believe it's 2-handed - whereas you mention your profession as pikes, and so it's the Long Vibro Axe that is the polearm. The reason why you never see Vibro Axes and probably why most people don't even know they exist is because they utterly and totally suck

I wouldn't bother collecting the resources, because any WS who makes these already has far better resources than you're likely to find in any reasonable amount of time.
As far as loot goes, you could try to get some nightsister vibro blade units /sniker, but that'sa headache and a half, which i'm sure you already know about, or can easily read about in the pikeman forum. Another thing you could look for are "high powered vibro motors", which drop off Nym's NPCs on Lok, but are also quite rare.
Make sure your weaponsmith experiments the subcomponents for damage, then range (not HAM). You're going to be killing yourself with HAM regardless, so you might as well hit stuff while you're doing it. A master WS with good materials, and +20 experimentation (pikes are one of the few instances in which this bonus makes a noticeable difference) can get the accuracy on an LVA to about -20 across the board without sacrificing damage/speed.

Um.... no. A Vibro Axe is a pike, as isa Long Vibro Axe. The VA is electricity light AP; the LVA is kinetic medium AP. The VA tends to have better accuracy.

That would be the vibro lance. The vibro axe is, as he said, a 2h weapon. The same thing I wrote earlier applies though, except expect to see approximately 0 to +1 accuracy at the very high end.

Yah - as I said, the Vibro Axe is such a poor 2H that it never gets produced so I am not surprised no one ever hears about it!
