I am btw still very much confused about your No.2 item on this list, I very much "feel" like a tank when playing my Pikeman, I can handle a lot more damage than on a non-tank char
. Maybe this is an old issue from the time where people were hardly used to their new abilities and just needs to be removed now as it isn't valid anymore?

I agree. But it might be my TKM taunt bonus. I can hold aggro and take the hits. Is there anything else a tank needs to do?

This is half of a WS issue but it has an effect on Pikemen:
There needs to be a way to craft decent Vibro Lances! I would regrind my alt on Chim to TKM/Pike asap if I had some nice VL's.
Or an ADK because I have 1 halfway decent one stored or I could use that ADK on a Kash-looted-one. But thats no real fix, only a workaround.

didnt look like this was posted...but...
AREA TAUNTFOR SWORDSMAN?!?!?! i say give it to the TK or to us...swordsmen are the nukes of melee, not the agro holders...im always up against at least 4 enemies at once, and with the jedi who cant hold their own while dishing out better damage than me, or the rifles using sniper shot, etc...an area taunt mixed with the TK taunt bonuses would be great...

What is this Massassi Lance I keep hearing of?
Quest/Loot?

Stats/Picture?
Thank you very much in advance

First, the NSEL blast damage issue has been fixed, now we just need them to NOT COMPLETELY SUCK!
Second, the massassi lance was available from the blue frogs during the CU beta, it is NOT ingame now, there is NO quest for it, NO way to loot it, and NO way to get it at all.
Third, good job gunman, keep it up! I want the royal guard robes, even though I'm twilek and wouldn't even be able to wear them, I'd still be happy to see them around ![]()

HAM usage for specials to far to great for a crowd control combatant which is how I view this profession.
I would also apply the double-bladed saber mentality here. It's said that mastery of the double-bladed saber requires a lot of skill. I think the same would apply to pikeman and the HAM usage rates they incur when using specials.
And let's please apply logic to the use of weaponry in the game. I would think a wood staff would be much lighter than a vibro lance. Why is it then that you swing a wood staff slower than you would a vibro lance? It's always been something that bugged me and I would add that because you have mastered the ability to use a staff effectively you would be able to use it in such a way to injure your opponent regardless of armor rating because that's what mastery entails (in my opinion).
I also think there should be a level of inate armor as, forgive me for projecting some reality in here, a pikeweaver needs to be able to move.
Armor should detract from them as mentioned earlier and moreso because their staff is usually their soles means of defense. They may be able to take body shots a bit, but they rely on their polearm weapon primarily for defense. They need the flexibility especially if they're to be a form of crowd control.
Forgive me if I put this in the wrong place as I put down everything as it came to me and thought everything had something to do with my initial statement.

i have to agree with you on this b/c i was swordsman before i was pikeman and it is just crazy with all the crap the can do. and they dont need area taunt to keep the aggro. pikeman needs it more then them. plus i really dont like warcry to much
