Truth be told, the lances I'm looking at are probably junk. They do have the DOTs so I know they are NSEL, but I couldn't say what their quality is.
You're thinking of the Nightsister Lance. The Nightsister Energy Lance is much different. The schematic only drops from Axkva Min, and requires NS Vibro Motors which only drop from... you guessed it, Axkva Min.
The stats suck, the DOTs suck, but its eyecandy... for a bit.
Anyways, to be on topic, I severely doubt we'll get a halfway decent weapon added until the weapons drops of Nightsisters are curtailed.

i am a bit envyous of swordsmen... they got alot of diffrent weapons they can use when bored (and with medium ap too) while we only got two viable options VL and LVA.. sure i can use a crappy ns lance or something but come on... no ap sucks

Ditto, some animations with the Reinforced Combat Staff look insane, call me Area2.
I only wish the final knee thrust wasn't there in Area2 and that the insanely beautiful animation from Area1 was used for something else so we could see it more often
