Thread: Are we ever to get new weapons?

I'm am just curious. Why have we yet to get a new weapon. I thought for sure we'd get on in p10. But we did not. Just out of curiosity. Has anyone heard or seen anything for us or are we to pretty much stay ignored

I'm not expecting any new weapons until the combat revamp. There is no point in implementing new weapons within the respective professions until they are balanced. I'm still hoping for the Echani Pike from Crimson Empire.

At one point Gunman mentioned that TH was "working on" getting us a new weapon like the echani pike. I wouldn't expect it before the revamp either.

The Echani pike looks so awesome...and i hope you must have Master Pikeman to use it. Would keep some of the FoTM away from using it 
But if it would come, i hope for god that it wouldn't be as hard to get like the NSEL

They should just drop the schematic to a Weaponsmith to allow them to make them. I'm hoping that's what they do. I think the Master Pikeman only for certification would be a good idea.

The look like the Basic Lance only they have DOT attacks. On Starsider, you can pick them up off the bazaars now for 6K, since the market is so flooded with them.

dang, on valcyn the NSEL's are selling for 5+ mil as the NS vibro motors are going for insane amounts

Truth be told, the lances I'm looking at are probably junk. They do have the DOTs soI know they are NSEL, but I couldn't say what their quality is.

You're thinking of the Nightsister Lance. The Nightsister Energy Lance is much different. The schematic only drops from Axkva Min, and requires NS Vibro Motors which only drop from... you guessed it, Axkva Min.
The stats suck, the DOTs suck, but its eyecandy... for a bit.
Anyways, to be on topic, I severely doubt we'll get a halfway decent weapon added until the weapons drops of Nightsisters are curtailed.

I see. Thanks for clearing that up. I didn't know there was a difference.
