A lot of the moves they use are lightsaber moves I think.

There is a handful of moves they've always had that I certainly never did at master pike. One of my favourites is a move where they spin the pike in reverse ("reverse" being that if the pike was a wheel, the car would go backwards) several times while slowly stepping forward, I'm extremely envious of that move

Some of the one-handed moves they use reminds me of the (in lack of a better term) asian traditional fencing style, wish I knew the name for it...

Its because now they use lightsaber specials with normal weapons like scyth and LVA also put some sick bleeds on you i had a 1200 tick bleed off an elder the other day....

well last night I had alot better luck but yeah now that I think about it in the combat queue it specials listed that I had never seen before. So they must be doing lightsaber damage when they use those specials.

I wish I could do lightsaber damage with a LVA

That pike move you talk of...

SaberPolearmSpinAttack3, or whatever it's called.

Can you get that move from gaining FS points in the Jedi quests as a Pikeman? I've seen the Nightsister Sentinels use a move like he is describing at it beats the crap out of you. Simialr to something the Dantari tribesmen use on Dantooine with their wooden stick that causes a great deal of damage.

ROFL... noooo. You need lightsaber 0040 for pole-spin3 or pole dervish or lightsaber mastery for pole-dervish2.

The FS quests and Jedi Profession have practically nothing to do with eachother gameplay wise.

0040 Medic will let you use higher level stims that hit alot higher, but then you won't be able to cure their nasty bleeds.

Warcry2 and tka-mediation works just great to cure bleeds...

Mastered Professions so far: * Brawler *TKA * Fencer * Swordsman * Pikeman * Marksman * Rifleman * Scout * Creature Handler * Medic

Fencer 4-4-0-0/Doc 4-0-3-0, you get all the best combat Doc skills, and the decent defences of Fencer, works great for tanking elders, and for pvp.

id have to say also the armor hole might be back. I was kicking the hell out of a protector for about half her ham down, then all of a sudden she was kicking the hell out of my ham big time. Being master Doc i could at first take it, but after about 1 min of constant high dmg hits, and my mind starting to quickly drop like a rock, i had to bail on her. It has happend on 2 protecotors now, but the other night i kicked the crap out of 2 protectors with no problem like this. Devs, check and see if the armor hole is back please, i like fighting protectors .

Yeah i have wondered this too, doesnt happen often but sometimes its like i have no armor at all...

But i have heard people talk about "force specials" with standard weapons, just wondering if those types of attack would bypass the armor same as a sabre would, just a thought

Went hunting tonight with a friend. Didn't seem to have any problems. I did die in the end, but that was because I got distracted and my friend had to drop the elder on me and I didn't realize it. The only problems I have is when they pull out a stun baton. Anything with a stun baton and more than 25k HAM is scary. But the two of us were doing fine against all types. I'm wondering what pieces of armor the people with problems were wearing?

well i wear 80/74/74 kinetic armor while fighting the NS, i do carry a PvP set of stun, so i can swap helmets or chest if i need to, but dont tend to bother much, i dont wear Bracers or biceps, as i dont take enough dmg there to warrent it.

But ur right about the Stun bats lol, what a shocker when they pull that out.... i bet its acklay too lol

Ok i might be really wrong on this one, but if they are throwing force moves, Which i like cause its more challanging...Shouldnt they have sabers as well? Shouldnt they be regulated with their powers and what powers they can use, depending on the weapon that they have equiped or armor and so on? Why do they get special exemptions ie. doing a force throw with say a LVA equiped and with no penalties like we would have if we tried to do the same if we were a jedi.

Also, if you dont know about it yet and want to try it, anytime your in a structure or cave, you can click on the the npc when it has a weapon equiped and type /open. This opens up the inventory and shows the weapon equiped on the NPC and what the stats are. Its always the best quality weapon at the best stats hehe go figure. Only way to do a nightsister would be int he cave or stronghold, but im sure they have some nasty stat weapons in their arsenal HAHA. Oh and if doing this is some type of exploit for some strange reason, then it needs to be fixed and posted.

Also on that note, why dont they have a forum board of known exploits that is posted by the DEVS only that will allow the community to know what is banable or warnable, instead of just banning ppl without any written notice in the forums on what is an exploit and what is intended.
