The scythe is SWG is a cool looking kick ass sword. go to nyms right now on lok and check it out. it's behind nym and also on a rack in his weapon room with the rest of the two-handed weapon.

I repeat IT DOES NOT LOOK like the gream reaper's weapon. read the post don't just reply to them

Rantok may be in game but besides looking cool, there is no reason to use it. It's not a very good weapon when compared to player made 1-handed weapons. This leads me to believe that many of us may be getting our hopes up for nothing. It would rock to finally be able to get the scythe but it probably won't be that good compared to the player made 2-handed weapons. I hope I am wrong tho.

You're not. What other weapon quest reward is more powerful than anything crafted?

and to other people the scythe does not need to be a pole arm, there are such things as battle scythes (creation for RPG's), and they are a shorter heavy curved bladed weapon, as opposed to a regular scythe, that has become infamous because of the grim reaper.

and for the person spelling gream reaper, its not gream reaper, its Grim Reaper, also known as the reaper of souls, or theharbringer of death, or just plain death.

Ok, now what would really piss everyone off more then they arleady are at not having a scythe is if we finaly get a schythe and it is worse than a heavy axe...

I don't have the coords to the place in lok but it is in nym's stronghold. it's a BIG building can't miss it.

Thank you so much for posting that pick. I agree, they need to create some quest for this weapon, because I think there are few people in this profession who don't want one of those. Perhaps it could be a weapon that combines the speed of the curved and the power of the cleaver or power hammer. Now that would be a cool weapon.

Well I for one can't wait to get a scythe and see what it's all about. It sure would be nice if it turns out to be a grim reaper type weapon!

okay the word sythe is deciving it does bit look like what the gream reaper carries around. its a kick ass sword looking type weapon. and you can see it desplayed in nym's weapon room on lok it's with the rest of the other two-handed weapons.

The problem is that about two months ago the dev's said nym's quest was supposed to be for the scythe but they were working on swordsman balance sothe quest woulndt be rdyfor a month or two thats why theres scythe's on the walls in nym's palace its supposed to be the scythe quest now the quest is for a carbine???

For crying out loud carbineers have good weapons allready we are the ones in need of better weapons and now we get shafted on the scythe quest arggg
