i love it when a rifleman tries to kill steal... drag the mob towards him and spam peace and it usually aggro's him. no damn rifleman is going to use me as his tank

vaca, i thought we were talking about pve. we arent trying to hit the same pool as the swordsman, we're trying to get him to back off our kill (or for some people, to steal it from the swordsman) so headhit3 means nothing, its about whos doing the most damage in the shortest amount of time, which depends on the mob. group pve is a whole different ballgame, because a chef/rifleman crew will in most cases outdamage a swordsman (or pikeman)/not rifleman group.

it depends, i have out dmged a master swords useing a scythe on blacksuns. he got 1 out of id like to say 50 we killed but that was cuz i had to chase one. i was hitting them for 4-5k a hit while he hit them for about 3k i like pike due to area kd, and area dissy comes in handy depending on the situation, swords is really good to tank kryats,elders, etc. but i have also tanked them but just never done dmg to them since im only kinetik :-(

pike does better dmg with regular hits and area attacks. i think their defenses are slightly better also. Sword is more versatile in dmg type. kinetic/blast. you can hunt elders with swordsman. But, you can own acklay with pikeman.
