I agree with everything here, but on a tangent PvP USED to be fun in beta and for the first few days of release. It sucks now, for all the reasons listed above.


Before everyone had 3 pets, which are typicall 4.5k HAM but very low damage (180ish)and ranged. So when3-4 people PvPed, you actually had a mini-battle of 12. Making sure you killed the players vs the pets required sometargeting discipline, and at the same time if you let a petkeep pounding on you forever you will die. Pluslike all mobsthey sometimes bust out a special like full autosingle.


In other words, there were PLENTY of targets to kill besides the player.Plus if you order the pets to attack first (ranged remember, not like CH pets)your opponent will start auto-firing back on pet.


Battles COULD turn into chaos of pet killing, but if you were good you could single out the players and eliminate them quickly & efficiently.


Plus, continual knockdown withso-so damage is just going to get you murdered by the pets (which is what most gun users have), melee could knockdown and then follow up with a 1-hit kill (remember in real PvP everybody will be doctor-buffed to insaneHA, but not M).


Basically, this game used tobe fun. And without thinking at allthey pretty much destroyed PvP by carelesslyand massively changing all the rules within a few days of release,because of feedback of absolute newbs who played the game all of 24 hours!


But yes, now it's turned into a CDEF 1-point damageknockdown fest. Whoever breathes first wins.
