i wouldn't say a TKA would destroy a Master Pikeman, because I never saw a master pikeman in beta. From looking at the stats and what I saw when playing around with the weapons when they still had the weapons dispensers in game, a pikeman can dish out an extreme amount of damage and their speed gets pretty fast from the bonuses we get.

Sure the TKA hits fast, I have a friend who is playing one though she is still in unarmed. She hits about 2 to 3 times for evey swing I do with my lance. Her hits are in the 30-50 range though while mine are are way up there. I fight white con NPCs and can hit for over 600 per hit though I seem to hit for 150-300 most of the time since the lance I have has a horrible variance.

Master TKA bounses are outragous... other melee classes get no such luck, **edit**'s wit dat? Anyone here the pikeman correspondent? Talk to the devs about that... Elite Melee Classes need some of TKA bounses... We work mentally hard too ya know,

I mean seriously, they are ridculously fast too! TKA are overpowered when they hit TKA status, but unarmed definately needs a boost cause they hit for like 60...

Well, im on Bria server, and im a pikeman, with a couple up in each department...with the new Grems God like lance ..18=227 , i beserked on a TKA artist and nailed him for 1866. As you know he gracefully hit the ground. On the same note..being knocked down over and over by a TKA is very annoying but there is a defense against it. Lunge..and polestun , PLUS a pikeman gets Sweep also...same as TKA, so both classes are pretty much equal. Id rather be a TKA artist for the fact that they look cooler fighting. Everyone talks about the lance, but i want Vibro Axes. break em out already.

You got no master weaponsmiths on Bria yet? I thought that place would be booming with them, cuz it was the main server in the beta.

There are many master weaponsmiths on bria but, there is a certain ore or mineral or something that is needed to make the vibro and they do not have that certain type yet on our server. I am two slots away from master pikeman and it would be awsome to have a vibrolance or long vibro axe SOON!

I think all the Master Elite Professions can kill in one hit. Would be kinda nice to kill in one hit... with the need of a weapon.

I've dueled many master TKAs, and at the moment, and it is basically a toss up. Master TKA can kill in 1-2 hits, Master Pikeman can usually kill in 1 hit, sometimes 2, so it comes down to who hits first and who doesn't miss. I hear they are really suppose to nerf PvP, which will make fighting strategy more than just queueing up polearmhit3, etc.

if the'res a range, then the pikeman should win. Lunge, sweep, death. Otherwise it depends on who goes first.

A TKA Monk challenged me to a duel for 'fun'. I had never dueled before so why not...

clicked accept and was instantly incapped. He hit me for 2300 in one shot.

Not much of a challenge. I probably also landed on my lance.

Yeah the vibro lance is really nice (as long you hit) Some TKA guys were brawling in the cantina and were asking guys for a duel. Well when I'm in town I keep my Long Vibro Axe hidden. Well as soon the battle started I bust it out and smote him with one hit. Was glad too since I had a really great chance of missing and ended up killing myself and making Pikemen bad. I guess we are not to messed up after all...who needs a knock down when they go down in one solid hit.

Yeah I think my duel with a TKA was a fluke. I just got lucky. Kind of discouraging to see them do decent damage at a fast pace and without missing! excuse me, I'm going to go cry in a little ball now...
