Of course the bleeds would be great, but if you don't have extra combat xp, they'll have to wait until then.

Ummm. I always knew pikeman had great defenses, but the only thing I see besides Defense vs. things is Block.
I have seen commando's take amazing damage, and it couldn't have been thanks to block.

That is defenses, melee mitigation and the 75% pvp reduction you're seeing. Melee mitigation hurts us very very much. I'm lost, really, as to what you're asking/concerned about...

The only good part about pikeman I have heard is insane defenses. And watching people like braglor with screen shots of soloing 2 krayts, I feel I should be getting ready to be undamageable.
I guess I just had a miconception about pikeman, I guess it really is pretty bad.
Hahah...until they gave us a few extra melee defenses, we had the absolutely worst defenses of all melee classes, now, we have slightly better melee/ranged defenses than swordsmen, but still less toughness and block that allows damage. This means we still have the worst overall defenses of any melee class. Listen, pikemen do better now, but we have always been the melee class that folds like wet paper. I don't know where you heard about all these insane defenses. Look at that link in my above post and see the numbers for yourself.

Ya I looked and got even more confused.
It goes with watching people at like novice pikemen being hit by several tuskens at a time, and on my server, there is a pikeman with the signature "Pikeman AKA-punching bag"
