What about ppl who have DOT weps they payed mills for?
If they f*** up my lance i will not become very happy

That is completely F*ed up if they would simply make them useless when they have been going for millions in the forumns...and I am thinking of spending millions on one right now. That would be the equivilent of taking away those precious light sabers and the light saber damage....DOT create a bit of a balance...
other wise you will just have some punk Jedi standing around with one buddy able to gank anyone and everyone who shows up...
They have and should take subtle steps to quell the wide spread use of them...such as:
- making DOT lances only effective when used by a master pikeman (same with other prof)
- haveing the ability to get poison and desease buffs.
That lastpoint completely negates DOT's doesnt it? So what is the problem then?

i dont think most of you understand that with dots come the counter-dot proffesion of doctor... without dots the need for doctors outside of buffing would be nill... all doctors would simply become a buff slave... If you dont like dots pick up the doctor proffesion and stop whining.... like many things in real life, 'nerfing' a so-called problem puts someone else out of buisness

I seem to remember Doc's being around before all the kids picked up mind fire polearms to compliment their "skills".

REally! And why have a profession to do it...why not just "drain the economy" by have a "TERMINAL" that you could walk up and pay $50k to get buffed....and do away with doctors ability to buff...
If they take away DOT's from pike -especially pike!- and do not provide some REAL alternatives....then you can basically just place us with Squad Leaders!

...No, with dots,pike has leg-tickle3. If dots are removed, we would actualy get a fix for the profesion. While we still have dots, that is what makes the profesion seem equal to the others, maybe even better. But it's a false sense of equality, our core issues are still here, dots are just a cover-up.
