Thread: No Dot's in PvP

I have to agree that DOTs need a nerf...even though it's the only way for Pikemen to survive in PvP.


Went to Coronet last night overt for buffs. Lo and behold, I get attacked by another overt. KD/Dizzy as usual, then cycle through my DOT lances. This guy was a buffed rifleman, and I was unbuffed.


2 seconds after he incapps/snipershots me, he gets incapped. Mind you, he was fully buffed, whereas I wasn't...

where u not herewhen therewasno75% reduction. my god commandos where hitting for 2k dmg. tk was killing people in one hit. pvp was lasting for 2 secs. was no fun at all.that is a horrible idea. like i have said beforewould u rather have pvp last for 5secs or 5 mins.

So the big difference between now and then is: "You catch on fire, You have been poisoned. You have been diseased, You feel dizzy, You have been knocked down. You have been incapacitated. You have been slain by human." PvP went from lasting two seconds to lasting 20 seconds big woop. I have no idea how to make pvp better but come on, onStarsider EVERY battle lasts 20 seconds to one minute, then clone zerging starts. reducing DOTs isn't a good idea but making DOT loots A LOT more rare might be a start.
