Yea if you use Hit3 after you knock them down they most always will stand up right away. I either use Hit2 on a single target or area2 on multiple targets. For npc's I can usually get 2 to 3 hits on them with hit2 before they stand up again if they were not dizzied. If you get a dizzy on them then you can him them a few times. To be sure they stay down though I avoid hit3 till they fully stand up again. In PvP I do the same. I wait till they finish flopping to use hit3 again. When they are on the ground you can use what hit you actually need. You can use area2, leg hit 2or3, or hit2. Also don't forget to stun them and intimidate them while they are napping on the ground. All in all the longer they stay down the better you will do.
