your loopholes are that since you are going for healing, it is not that much. pvp you should be getting over 1100 per heal i think. also, while it may be fun in pve, you have an area KD already from pikeman, and the timer is only 30 seconds on it. you spend a lot of points on commando to get something you already have.
also, (at least what i think) tkm armor is decent, nothing special. crafted armor can have higher stats, and can be AB sliced.
also, while impale/combo is a decent combination, you have no AB.

Lets fight apeik, i do have a chance against jedi and havent lost to another melee player either. MBH/CMs are my thorn tho, they cant kill me, but i cant lay on enough damage without getting uber snared to kill them either.

MPM/MBrawler/0100TKA/0044Swordsman/4000doc
Good Heals, IBOC, AB, Crit Strike, AKD, and all armor is mitigated down to nothing
Whatcha think?

Yes i do have an Area Kd already from pikeman,but i do not have a area KD with 30 m range,the grenade one i can use when rooted or in amubsh style tactics,but the main eason for it is that the grenade tree gives excellent defenses,but you are right about the healing,it is a bit on the low side,but that can be mended with foods and stims,but there is always room for improvement

MPike/TKM/Doc 400/FS
For grinding FS, this is a good template b/c I can tank for large groups and heal. I set up a macro to do Bacta Infuse on myself every 30 sec. and gain med xp without ever consciously healing anyone else, while at the same time keeping myself healthy. The TKM provides inate armor as well as advanced COB, making it difficult for the enemy to do much damage quickly. Of course, the Pike allows me to deal a great deal of damage, quickly. I've been using the Kashyyk Bladestick lately, but there some pikes that can do even more damage.
For grinding FS, this is a good template b/c I can tank for large groups and heal. No clue about that since the profession calculator that I found does not give CL when you make a template
Anyone know how they calc CLs?

This is what I was going to ask.... how does Doc 4000 compare to the ghetto healing of StimDs/Ruby Bleil? Does it make up for having a CL74 template instead of a CL80 all-combat template?
I'm thinking of firing upone of my old inactive secondary accounts (which still has two respecs on it) and using one of the popular MPike templates, mainly for PvE questing.

yes, this isone of the top two pike templates in my opinion. the other, which is mine of course
i just like to be able to buff myself.
mpike/mbrawler/4004 doc/0034 swords
i have battle armor, all 4 pieces adk'd. all pieces have 4 sockets, and i wear a bando. i have +25 in pike spd, pike acc, +10 gen melee spd, +10 gen melee acc, +25 healing eff, among some other worthless mods. and i have each piece of armor sliced with a level 2 armor break and level 2 absorption
i can beat any kind of template, jedi included. against a mdef, yeah, you're pretty much gonna have to run them out of force unless they really suck.
i don't understand why so many pikeman go tkm? if you don't have the money for armor, then it makes sense. but to me, pike is worthless without 0034 swords. advanced armor break, plus alternating between impale and critical strike...you can 3-4 hit almost everybody.
but then again, i'm speaking from a pvp sense

I am wanting to do FS grind and I would like to be a Pikeman so I can help my FS grind group better. I like the not needing armor since I am still a new player under my 30 day trial with about 300k credits to my name.
However, if I choose not to go Jedi I will more than likely revert to the above template since it is better for PVPing. From what I hears you really need CL 80 if you are going to want to do any of the high end content.

Is Crit Strike really necessary, in your viewpoint? I'm on my way to MPike, MBrawler, 0100 TKA, 0030 Swords, 4004 Doc (completely agreed about the self-buffing
), so I'm basically trading Crit Strike for Improved CoB. Does the extra defense not really affect you in PvP?
