I too am a Holocron Pikeman... but I am a Pikeman. I enjoy the profession... I think it's fun. It's been quitea learning experience from what I knew about combat before. Oh... it's not easy... and it does take time to learn how to use the pikeman profession effectively. Our weapons have bad schematics with horrible range mods and even worse ham costs. We're neglected by devs and yet... it's still fun.

I do resent this "I picked holocron and you are a poser for being led to it by a holocron" attitude though. Eliteism is lame... Especially when you're talking to the very people who are bringing a louder, wider voice to the devs to get your chosen profession fixed sooner (we hope). Sodon't degrade me because I made a choice to follow a profession... Jedi... I'm not a Jedi novice... but I'm working on it... and let me tell you for one... the path to Jedi is harder then any one profession because it takes a lot more then one profession to even get it in the first place. Will I keep pikeman when I'm done with it? Yep... I will. Will I change over to something else later? Maybe... but I don't know all of what the future has in store for my character but I know it's a long road... and one I will travel with a smile.

There's just something about the fact that a majority of Holo-Pikeman, if not all of them, are here not by choice.........and that separates the real Pikeman and the ones who felt "Forced" (No pun intended ) to discover this world of SWG. It doesn't matter if you actually found out that you like Pikeman or not, you're still different because you're originally here because a Holocron told you to...and there's no denying that......and it's not just Pikeman...it's every profession..........You enjoy this profession all you want, it matters not....to me, to us all, you are a Holocron induced player, one who is "Forcibly" told what to play....

Now if I've read a post with alot of people or heard in game, "Wow, im really glad I got these holocrons, they really made my gaming experience better and I've learned so much from fullfilling these prophecies, I can't wait to see what my next objective is." Buuuut......no. Honestly, with my personal experience, all I have ever heard about these holocrons is cusses, and how they don't want to do it but they "Have" to, *Sigh* im grining holos again......So naturally they're categorized differently.....it's not an elitist thing................I don't care how much numbers you add to ours............I can say for myself I rather fight this losing battle with the people who I know chose this profession because of free will..........and those of Holo-Pikeman that enjoy being this profession and don't intend to drop or fully intend to return.....but they're still Holo-Pikeman......There really is no changing that....through ignorance, through pride...blah blah blah..........

All of you 'righteous' pikeman out there, are started to grind on my nerves.

First you whine and complain about the lack of pikeman in the galaxy. Now when your AP points are being few to you on a silver platter, you whine and complain some more.

Live with what you've been given. And quit b!tchin about it.

I was a teras kasi master before. I was also a master brawler and a master fencer. Does this make me ANY less of a melee class than you?
