Expert Pikeman should be Halberdier and Heavy Cleaver should be Dragoon. Expert Pikeman is redundant and usually by the time you have the combat exp to learn Master Abilities you are already a Master Pikeman

I know the votes over, but y'all crazy for changing Heavy Cleaver. Very original, very mean sounding, and suits the profession perfectly. I hope if I just leave my name tag Heavy Cleaver, it'll stick after the change goes into effect just like people can keep titles for professions they don't have. I haven't changed my tag from Heavy Cleaver since the day I got it, and I've been a master pikeman for over 6 months now.
Halberdier Definition: A guard who carries a halberd
That's from the dictionary, a Halberd is simply a different model of a Pike. I'd like to see a Halberd introduced into the game (a weapon actually called this), before we start naming ourselves as one who carries one.
Good call at least on not going with Dragoon as I don't see Europe anywhere in the Galaxy and Dragoon (other then already being an NPC faction in the game) directly means a group of European heavy cavalry.
For anyone that's curious to what you're giving up by getting rid of Heavy Cleaver:
\Cleav"er\, n.
One who cleaves, or that which cleaves; especially, a
butcher's instrument for cutting animal bodies into joints or
pieces.
One who cleaves, or that which cleaves; especially, a
butcher's instrument for cutting animal bodies into joints or
pieces.
That's definitley the most hardcore definition of our profession from all given options (no reason I can't consider my enemies all animals
), oh well.

I don't care about the meaning, I just want something that sounds cool.
my vote for Halberdier then dragoon.
And, dragoon doesn't mean you ride dragons. Now, I'm no history expert, but I'm pretty sure that the guys who rode horses and had muskets around colonial times were called dragoons. (That, or horses are actually dragons, that'd be cool...)

I've found a love, somewhat of a new found love; Pikeman. The combat profession I had most dislike for in the early days, has now become my favourite. Go figure...
