Thread: Publish 6 patch notes concerning pikeman

Notes of interest to pikemen:

Combat
DoT damage is now tracked for loot permissions.
XP rewards in combat now correctly reflect amount of damage that was done by dots.
DoT stacking has been changed so that each player attacking a target can only have one fire dot, one health bleed, one action bleed and one mind bleed.
Weapon DoT effects now only work if you are certified to use the weapon

CGW
PvP Death Penalty reduction: PvP deaths will no longer suffer 1% decay if items are insured after the player's death.
PvP Death Penalty reduction: PvP deaths will no longer cause items to un-insure after the player's death


That's it. So...no more stacking bleeds, so actionhit1 is now completely useless. Unless it works such that one player can hit actionhit1 and another actionhit2, but not two players hitting actionhit2. Hmm...
Also, now all the nightsister polearms with DoTs can only be used by us. Yay.

So with the removal of bleed stacking, TKA gets yet another buff relative to the other melee profs...

it is always passive nerfs.....i have said this all along.

every thing the do is to stop other proffesions from exploiting too much, but always hurts us more.....

the stacking was probably to stop fencer/pitoleers.....or rifleman/swordsman.....or pikeman/carbineers(never even heard of a player with this mix).....

or it could have been to stop those mind bleed stacking in PvP...becouse that ends a duel fast.

oh well....


just like how mitigation hurt us the most....


when berserk was nerfed it hurt us most, since we hit the slowest.....


Center of being, while our melee freinds are avoiding all kinds of hits, we still take damage, and sometimes it is TONS on larger mobs, that they would have normaly just missed....


knock down timer hurt us the most(Polearm hit 3 would be awesome otherwise).....


Mitigation, hurts pikeman the most....


boost in melee defenses for all proffesions....that hurts the people who ALREWADY can't hit **edit**....


BLOCK!

HAM!

ACCURACY!

DEFENSE!

DAMAGE MULTIPLIERS!


they are amassing quite a collection of things to screw us with....


ARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ARK SMASH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two players can both attack with actionhit 2. One person can only do one of the bleeds

just plain sucks ... they got till feb 12 to decide if they love pikeman and if they do .. better worth itor ill be another one biting the dust

that is possibly the dumbest thing i have ever heard. another nerf to PvE just to keep the PvP whiners at bay.

I am a Commando/Pikeman, nerfing stacking DoTs is one of the dumbest things they can do, F*CK you devs cant you do anything right like make both my professions working, huh? screw your colored bikes and unfun, too short Acts fix this profession, no more nerfs to us by accident why don't you get out of the we aren't going to do crap to help you phase and start doing something worthwhile

WE ARE PIKEMEN WE EXIST WE NEED HELP!!!!

Trust me it's not what you think. I beleive a Dev will be posting more information on the DOTs tomarrow. The DOT system is changed yes, but it looks like it was done to be a boost to the system and not a nerf.

i hope not because i am a little torqued off and very disappointed in the patch, no help to our profession again and more hurt to it from the sound of it, same with my other profession Commando
