Thread: Best xp grinding spots for soloing... where are they?

There are plenty of places that are great for group hunts that come out with big xp but not so manyplaces (if any) if you are going solo. I used to do rebel missions and that works ok but the xp does not seem to be as good as it used to (but when one needs 250 instead of 175 k of xp you start wanting bigger xp). I like hunting in groups better but sometimes you can't find anyone who wants to go (or everyone who wants to go are like novice marksman and brawlers). Is there any place that is somewhat decent for xp that I can solo if I only have all the intermediate skills and defensive techniques 2?

Try PiketLonghorns on Dantooine. You should be able to drag one at a time out of the herd. you can get roughly 3.5k out of each. Kill 3, shake the nest, get 3 more. You'll get about 9 before they stop spawning(somethings more) Then you can get about 5k for the lair itself. About 35k or so for each lair.

You think thats good?

That sounds great... much better than imperial civilian patrols (or what ever the heck you call them). You think I could take them on with my 1,1,2,1 skills in the pikeman tree?

Oh yeah, what kind of damage do they do (ex: kinetic, energy...). I have a set of advanced chitin armor that protects over 40% against kinetic and around 20% for energy, blast, restraint, and acid.

p.s. Do these things assist each other?

Yes, you should have no problem.

I am not sure what kind of damage they do. You have sweep1, they should not hit you anyways.

Yes, but you can pull one at a time.

It will take you a good hour or so to milk one lair for 35k.(if you take the 10 credit mission, you can get money too.:smileywink

Um how do you drag one out at a time if they are not aggro??

It is really easy. I'll let you figure it out though.

Uh no, it's not easy. It is easy to pull if they are aggro. If they are not, you have to attack one and you'll have 5 of them right nearby.

Then your not doing it correctly.

First off, there are only 3 Longhorns that spawn per lair.

Secondly, you dont run in and just attack them, you need a plan before you go trying to muscle your way in, or else you willfail.

I can pull one at a time, everytime, with no problems. Its called practice. Try it.

You will learn how to pull one at a time.

why is that?

Because I can pull one longhorn at a time? Or because you can't?

I put up a helpful post, take it as you will. If your having problems, then try something different.

If you were trying to be helpful, you'd say how you pull BAF non-aggros. Is it an exploit that you don't want to post because you'll afraid it will get fixed? Other than that, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't post it other than you're just an ass. Either way, you are are of poor quality.

Poor quality isYOU trying to get everything handed to you on a nice clean plate.

It is a legit way to pull one creature at a time, if you cannot figure it out, then dont troll these forums and make an ass out of yourself. I let the author and everybody else know a way to get good exp. Go try it out, then come on here and whine, but do NOT try to stand yourself up on my posts.

If you have something constructive to contribute to the post, then I suggest you do so, otherwise, leave your "Poor Quality" out of it.

What is so hard to figure out?

*pulls out rifle*

*aims at the animal*

*pulls trigger*

*misses but, oh well!, that got its attention anyways*

I would think if you do it at a far enough distance they shouldn't all come after you. I'm not sure if this is what he was talking about but it sounds good to me.
