Yeah, its possible. Its the same template as mine and I have no problem soloing multiple cl80+ mobs.

Which lance do you use and what are the stats? Also do you have SEAs? I'm assuming you are using armour break?

I started my second slot toon recently... went Master Pikeman/TKM and Doc 4000. I gotta say. It rocks. I only have +8 polearm speed in the suit of armor i wear ( 6500 kinetic/energy maurader). my pike is pretty good. 1051 max but high speed... 2.47... my modded dps is only 498 right now. improved stunning blow, improved intimidate & improved warcry are such a good combo..... I can solo giant canyon krayts ( lvl 86) right now. I use improved bacta a lot but rarely even need to use stims. And the sky is the limit too. currently i use no pups.... i do pop some food... working on getting fs melee spd and enough ADK's to make sure my armor never goes bad... then gonna collect AA's and passively search for a more uber pike. Also gonna go after the great kaminoan staff to have a good kinetic pike. This is an excellent Pve template. Haven't tried to solo a gorax yet but am looking forward to it. As far as pvp goes.... haven't tested it too much but i know with the healer and improved COB i won't go down quick. anyway, my 2 cents. I hope it helps and would very much love to hear other peolpes strategies.

Not sure about the Gorax, not tried yet, but I had no problem with a Juvie Krayt. I also decided to do a little trophy hunting last night and the CL80 mobs were no trouble at all, including the Mutant Acklay.

PvP is just as impressive - I love it.

You may also want to look at the food / Drink you have. For any high end PvE I have the following stacked: Blob Candy, Kanali, Spiced Tea, Ahrisa, Pikatta or Vegeparsine, Breath of Heaven and Thunderclound. For really high end I pop a Booster Blue as well. The result is that they miss me more than hit.

I only use 1 pike now - NSEL, Damage Sliced and pupped with an ADK. Max is at 1113 and midified DPS at close to 600. SAC is a little high at 100, but I tend to do combos that keep this down. My other pike is a Kamoian (s?) Great Staff, and that is almost identical stats, apart fro the SAC is just 85 so I alternate them.

I have that template as well, and have a kaminoan sliced and ADK'd, and I can solo the following -

Giant Canyon or lower krayts

Gorax

Acklay (the real one not mutant)

Axzva Min

Anything else save ancient krayts, necrosis, or DJK/DJM type stuff.

You just need good food, well timed AB, and patience...
