Thread: What are the best creatures for levelling pike?
I used to be a quenker hunter (tedious I know) until the recent revamp. Now all they do is spit and run away, far too much hassle!
I was wondering what, generally, the best creatures to use for levelling are?
I heard that Huurtons and maybe Gurks are good, but just wanted people's opinions really.

I haven't hunted Huurtons, and only rarely Gurks. I think Gurks were good because there are so many of them in a lair. Pikets are always good too, as long as you are buffed and have decent armor. Once you have some area attacks you can just sit and area attack the lair until all of the pikets are dead.

If you're going for either, use an electricity weapon as they have no def against electricity and go down hard. They are extremely susceptible to sweep attacks and area attacks, so you can pound away at them like crazy in a group. They give me 3-4k in exp each, not to mention the money you can make from their missions (esp. BN's).
As far as ease of finding them, Baz Nitches win hands-down. They are ALL OVER THE PLACE on Dathomir, whereas I have found it to be difficult to find Gurks on Lok...sometimes. I like to get two missions of BN's in the same direction, but at two very different distances (800m and, say, 1600m). Then I get buffed, get mind-buffed if possible, and head out to the first 800 mission ON FOOT, killing whatever I can on the way from the outpost. Then after finishing the first, I run out to the second, killing as I go, finish the second, hop on my swoop and head back to the outpost to do it all again.
Repeat, repeat, repeat! Enjoy!
Hurtons by far. Weak resists, low HAM, great xp. There is nothing better for grinding.

Don't mean to sound picky , but you cant always expect to just stand there and have things come to you. If something runs , target it , type /fo (you will follow it) and use /lunge to halt it. If you ever fight stormtroopers or droidekas you need to do that kind of stuff anyway.

i thought the hurtons huntressess were great until i picked up a hurton stalker and the xp difference is about 300....i believe with a huntress i got 3400-3500 and with the stalkers i got 3700-3800....but atm im hunting pikets on dant since they are the best one's that give herb meat which i need for my meds...currently thr herb is 887 OQ there and 315 PE
That depends on whichgalaxy you are on as well. Resources vary by server.
And I got the same exp for stalkers and huntresses, which was in the 3.5-3.7k range. Bloodstained mereks on Endor are currently 3.9k exp a head.
And they did make quenkers harder, but good. They needed a good slap with the nerf bat. When everyone on every server almost unanimously suggests one creature over all others (as in the case with savage quenkers, something is horribly wrong. The devs do keep track of what gets hunted the most, and I think they did a silent fix to the quenker's strategy.
But even as is, savage quenkers and bs mereks kite and spit, but that can be easily taken care of. Roll up on one, get it to fight melee, spam your favorite special while running towards the other one and you should be able to then have both in melee fighting mode.
i was debating on leveling on endor....i think i will head out there and level see what xp i get there
