I Dont agree.
I have not seen many posts like that ina while now except for maybe some HAM ones. But the reason we seem like we cry all the time is because the devs neglect us more than any other profession (except for maybe carabineers ). Even though a few fixs have occured, there are still a few things missing.

As fast as a Fencer .. with a bunch of Skill tapes they don't need ... Yes

Cause more damage than a Swordman ... with a Uber Looted 800+ max damage axe maybe .. while they can use their crafted Hammer

As accuracte as a TK ... against what were you fighting dude ?? Against a NS of course we are as accurate (and even ...) but next time try PvP ...

I agree though .. in PvE we rocks ... our AoE moves are awesome ... but in my Opinion PvE sucks ...I'm here for the PvP and I don't want to drop Pikeman because I love our moves ....

I remember seeing this TKM Fighting a protector with me ... he was hitting 3x faster and about the same damage ... I was using my "normal" crafted 500 Max damage LVA (Medium AP remember) and he was using his normal VK (Light AP) still he was doing 3x more DSP ... there is something wrong here ... I don't mind that the TKM attacks 3x faster of course ... but we should at least attack 2-3x STRONGER than them ...

Ah and ... we can't heal/buff ourselves ...

try this one... /areaattack2 BAM 200 ham down the drain, now put on some nice composit... BAM! 400 ham down the drain, even after powerboost, i can use all of 2 specials before i kill myself... tk spams day and night, im just sick of being a buff addict its not fun

When you do a mission, target the lair with Spin attack 2 or polearm area 2 and watch them all flock to you and drop like flies. I suck up 90% of the exp.

lol....you have obviously never gone PvE with a rifleman. You'd be running to the lair just to scout the carcasses.

The problem is there. For us to be a force, even in PvE lined up next to other masters we rely on looted weapons, and we are nothing without buffs. Now alot of it has to do with templating, but there are classes that don't have the same reliance we have. TH was prolly right when he called us Hybrid, and that is scary, cuz we are the only Hybrid/Elite meele. The class is too dependant on outside forces. Not to say I don't have my nights where I serve em up, we all have the good and the bad. We are capable of grabbing insane amounts of aggro, and xp when the situation is right, but we don't have the innate ability to withstand the resulting damage unless we gain the defence of another meele class. In PvP without a uber looted weapon, mitigation reduces our damage below what I could pull off spamming OverchargeShot with a CDEF. Ok, example a lil extreme, but not too far off. Basically it boils down to Pikeman being a great class if you're lucky, and a novice medics best friend if your not. To see what the issue is, find yourself a TK, or Swordsman and without anyone else around engage a mob, both of you use mundane weapons, normal for what you would use against what ever mob your picking on, both of you beat the mob down, then pick 2 seperate mobs and do the same, look at your combat spam after and you can begin to see what the problem is.

Ok.. don't compare me to you. I WAS talking about PvP as well. Ask anyone who knows me in Intrepid. All the things I say are true. PvE and PvP, I don't have issues. I only have a 559 LVH - Thats with a power up. I got +25 speed tapes, 20 Accuracy and +18 Damage. So yes this might make the difference. But not by THAT much. I think. /shrug

With my max 700+ powerup PH, I can hit like over 4-5K on certain mobs. Take down stuff in like 3 hits. With my LVA, it takes me AT LEAST 4x longer. I don't expect pikeman to hit as much as a swordsman. I expect to take a beating in pike, but to be able to handle multiple opponents. Swordsman have little to no defense.
