I'm wondering which is better, area attack 2or spin attack 2. I only have the points to go up one of those trees, and I'm wondering which is the better multi-attack attack.

The best area attack is actually polearmsweep2 in the expertdefense tree. However, if you're going to choose between the stances and offense tree, definitely go stances. The speed bonuses are the best things you can get.

Yeah, polearmsweep2 is devastating, especially when it hits some targets for 3000 a pop.

Area attack 2 also has another LONG animation which means you better kill everything in the area in 1 hit and hope you don't miss any. I took area 2 out of my bar and replaced it with 1. Less damage but oh so much faster if using ae back to back.

man theres nothing better than looking at my combat log and seeing how one flurry2 or conceal 2(?forgot the name) has done around 3000 dmg on 4 or 5 different animals in one shot. Ive3 gotten over 14k total dmg from one shot on a mob of 5 or 6 surrounding my tank. Problem I have is that unless I take the time to sicc my pet individually on every single membver of the mob, I run a serious risk of attracting unwanted attention from one or all but one of the group. Anyone got any tips on how to use these well?

I find setting my pet on a lair and blasting an occasional flushingShot2 works pretty well, so long as you time it so the shot doesn't go off right after something pops out of the lair.

Pretty much all critters will aggro on the pet when he's beating on the lair - for npc's I haven't found a better way than letting him hit each one before jumping in myself.

Umm...I meant out of the 3 KINDS we have. Area, spin, and sweep.

I used to think Spin2 was the best until I got Area3, but Area3 rocks, I believe that's our hardest hitting one Blake.
