What type of armor are you guys using? What would you recommend?

I don't have any armour. So i don't use any armour...

I just started today and i must say polearms kick ass!!!! The whole day was me and a group fighting a bunch of tuskans which was fun and really hard! We had 2 polearms and a few brawlers and then like 2 or 3 gunner people. The other polearm dude kicked ass and i help my own, which isn't bad for just starting. SO right now the only armour i have is a tuskan raider helmet and the cloths i got when i started. I'm useing a metal staff, that does pretty good DMG, i'm have a combat staff thing but the metal staff is faster and does more dmg so i use it.

Oh i forgot to add can someone just tell me what armour is the best to use as a polearm? I'm not having any problems with range attacks sence i fight mostly in groups and just run up to them. So If someone could just tell me what kind of armour is good... or should i even bother with armour?

I have some Mabari Armorweave (just chest and leg armor).

I have full Mabri armor it takes almost half of all damage..It's really usefull just take it off when your regen life, and action..Also what was the name of the pikeman ?

Yea I wanna know too... hey Ryland whats your in game name, Ryland Avalee? We should hook up and hunt some time, I know another great polearm name Tott Cophii, hes great too... I think he's talking about Tott Cophii cause he went on a tuscan raid earlier... but we should definately see each other... that is, when Starsider comes back up....

Oh well i'm on kouri or somthing like that. I cann't remeber his name now...

I just wear Mabari pants and bone armor on my left bicept and left bracer.

The Gladiator look is sweet. The bone armoe kind of draws a bit of HAM points but I figure that its only two small pieces so its not too bad. I also wear some hides boots and a sun shader for a hat. Its Maximus meets Kain, but very cool look if you ask me. I could get better armor but I am going for look and not just best armor.

Speaking of look, can you wear a robe over your armor? I want to be "dressed to impress".

I got a full set of Ubese too. This armor is great. It may not look good, but its got it where it counts. It has a very high resistence to Kinetic, so melee attacks don't do much to it. The only problem I had was putting it on....I had to eat some stuff to put it on, and now I have to use Stat Migration to put it above 0, hehe.
