hmm sounds decent but i havent logged in in a month due to my pc failing and the warrenty ppl are taking their sweet ass time but as a master pike that wep should swing out some nice dmg

Not meaning to rain on anyone's parade but that isn't really a particulary good lance lol, a pre-cu converted crafted vibrolancw would most likely be far superior, and a pre-cu looted VL (decent one) will be far far better. If that lance wasnt level 50, then it may be a good pike to grind up to pikeman with, but that isnt a pike that I personally would ever use.
And just for the record, in my opinion DPS does not mean much about a weapon. SAC is probably the most important thing for me (whats the point in having great damage, but no action left?).

We're talking base dps. Your super-fantastic 480 is most certainly not base dps.
It remains a respectable lance. Not an amazing pee-down-your-leg-with-glee lance. It has decent damage and speed and a reasonably good action cost.
220+ is fine if you're always in a group,280-300 is great base dps and you should be able to pvp with it well, over 300+ you have a great weapon you shouldn't needlessly grind with too much.
& also look for vibro lances with a max damage of 950+, with some skill mods hopefully too
If this isn't a "particularly good" lance, then I musta got really screwed, because I have one or two pre-cu pikes, out of about 30 (some crafted, some looted), that converted to something better then this. Not to say that they pike is fantabulous... but I really haven't seen to much out there that's all that much better. Who knows, maybe I'm just not looking hard enough.
