Thread: ineresting duels with jedi recently

I recently finished my template AGAIN. Master pike/ master rifle 4440 Fencer.
I fought 2 different jedi. both knights and finished templates.The first was master saber master defender. We were both equally buffed. I am speed capped, was using my 1110 max dmg LVA that comes with a 160 str 97% action poison.(pretty nice I'd say) I agreed not to use fire or disease.
I took 2 brandies, thakatillo, sythsteak and air cake.
Fight lasted 30 secs. My sythsteak hadnt even ran out. I was never even KD'd.
second fight was against master saber, some healer, enhancer and powers (no defender at all)
I took same except also popped a pixie. was never kd'd. KD'd the jedi twice. and fight lasted 1min 10 sec.
I used itimidate as much as I could(jedis healed it almost instantly all times) I am a pretty good pvpr and have been playing since launch. A month ago I beat similar jedis in long duels I eventually won.
Something has changed. I went through combat spam and I never hit either for over 172 dmg! Many hits were from 40-150 range.
Imagine if I used an off the shelf 500max LVA. Even the jedi agreed something had stealth changed.
I have fought other jedi previously in pvp and been fine.
What's going on? Are normal templated doomed now?

Nice yea i was at geo a BH and jedi fightig out side i went out had to log but i wanted to watch BH was doing good than he got KD and i was healing supid jedi came for me next because of TEF so he had a one handed saber and would only use head hit but i got soem food n an he an with jedi speed to soem river followed on speeder he blew it up and i was fighting for 10 min than got downer i was playing with him usen Dot for fun bad ones than i ran toviver to get downer down by than he had goten some friends from the geo cave to come help i used area kd and dizy kd all 3 killed both swords with fencer than te jedi ran followed was board of it so kd got 1k of wounds with dots and log in a lake where he ouldn attak lol oo im MASTER FENCER MASTER PIKE AND MASTER BRAWLER hehe it was a fun fight aybe i sould havekilled the jedi

oops, sorry for the misunderstanding. I got, how you say? WTH pwnd! 250-470 per hit coming from these jedi. once per second. no resists(obviously) except for synthsteak.

Absolutely love it!. Melee mit 3, ranged mit 3, can still hold my own with a acklay stun bat. all the dots one could imagine. If I dont feel like getting down and dirty in pvp(IE feeling lazy) I just go with a nice T21 and or Jawa. Plus all that faction from sniper shot ROFL. In pve its great too for damage output.
defenses w/o tapes are: 185 block, 139 melee def, 166 ranged, +90 dizzy, +70 KD, +70 blind(might be 60), +20 intim, +60 stun, +110 posture change(might be 100) +90 dodge even- for fencer I am not the greatest tank by all means, but pretty darn good.
One shotteda jedi last night in pvp actually with the T21 (1308 to the mind) poor fellow should of mind buffed. Blocks didnt matter since I was kiting on Thakatillo.

talked to the second jedi. He used force intimidate2 which supposedly is a 66% reduction! he was also on synthsteak. Apparently also the intim sign doesnt always appear next to your bar when they hit you with that attack. /ponder hmmph. Will need to do more testing. /wrench; /wrench

Aw damn dude, I was hoping that it was your victory =/ .... I've seen Pikeman pwn Jedi without taking barely any damage. (No DoT's mind you)

exactly. I used to myself. something changed is why I posted this question. The numbers dont add up like they used to.I could deal jedi 300-500 dmg a sec and now am reduced to nil(was intimidated some of the time).
I am well over cap on block(200) and melee defense(140) mind you, but it mattered little.
