Tiggs, will just having the pre-order key resgistered be enough to access the game? Do I need anything else? Or will it be sufficient?
Thx, because if that's all I need I want to start preparing to make the Jump to Lightspeed.

For all those saying that they preordered the game and the site said Oct. 26. Read it closer it says the game SHIPS oct 26, which means depending on shipping options you will either get it next day or later. As for pre-order status it was a limited supply deal which needed the pre order disk. As for JTL goin live today on the servers, this would be most likely done to check for bugs and early patching before everyone gets home with theirretail JTL, so there wont be hours upon hours of waiting due to the expansion release as seen in other games.

To the best of my knowledge(from what i have read in other post and such), you can only claim the veteran reward with the JTL retail key.

It seems I need some kind of help here 
I received and registered my beta keyin early september. Then I preordered JTL on gamespot (I'm Italian, no beta invitation disk for us europeans - no matter i was already in beta). So I registered my beta key but it wasn't the preorder beta key, just a beta key you SOE sent to me.
Now I'm waiting for the delivery of my JTL package, but once i'll receive, it its not clear what I've to do with my two keys.
Please give me some help :\

LOL Cold they are just putting in the rest of the code to save on lagg time and server useage on the 27 when the game is realy gone live it is not live today tool....

Tiggs.... Is this all we get on the MAJOR LAG ISSUE happening right now? I'm afraid of you guys telling us that we need to turn our graphics down, that have been running FINE for months, because of all this lag.

BTW,
I have a P4 3.4, 2 GIGS of system RAM, and an ATI PCI Express X800 with 256 megs video RAM. I should NOT have to turn any graphics setting down. Both on the video card and the ingame settings.
Now THAT'S a damn good question. I'm hearing complainst about Jump to Lagspeed everywhere I go. Is that really what the gaming experience is goin to be like now, or are the dev's going to take care of the absolutely terrible lag that even people with high end computers are dealing with? Hmm, Grand Theft Auto San Andreas just came out too. No lag in there

Tiggs or anyone that can give me an answer;
1. It's still Tuesday, October 26th,
2. I preordered JTL from GameSpot.
3. I received a JTL beta invitation disk shortly thereafter and joined the beta
4. Now I want to get JTL going with my SWG account.
5. When I attempt to enter my beta invitation disk key in the register expansion fields I get the following error: "Sorry - This account key has already been registered."
Anybody got any idea what I should do next?

Did anyone else find the directions on entering your JTL Pre-Order Key and then a "Retail" Key in order to get your pre-order speeder a bit confusing? I don't have my "Retail" key, because the store I purchased the Pre-Order Key from has not made the game available yet. Otherwise I would do what many of you are probably doing, just trying what seems to come natural and seeing what pitfalls you fall into LOL!
Both locations that we were pointed to appear to be requesting the JTL "Retail" key (there never should have been another key IMHO). They both have buttons for registering the expansion.
Do we have to load the pre-order Beta? I didn't do this, because I was already in Beta.
Isn't all the JTL code being downloaded? Do we actually have to install anything? If the answer is no, then the "Retail" Key was genuinely silly, and my having to wait to get another key from the store is a waste of my time preventing me from being able to play on launch, as you would expect you get to do with a PRE-ORDER!!

i dont have my retail copy yet..my beta was good enough for me to show off my flash speeder today on ahazi
wth do you mean you need 2 keys?..soe screw up something else now?

i should also note...if you bought the trial of swg..then paid for the game..you didnt have to insert the cd...you already have swg from the trial..no need to download what you already have..this shoddy way of doing things makes me think i can pop back in my beta and i'll be JTL enabled

Why didnt you buy a copy from EB Games when they had copies in stock? It mayget therea little late, but at least you get the speeder, once it arrives.

I am in Australia and I pre-ordered the game from Gamespot. I did not get a beta disk from Gamespot - international? But was playing beta due to an SOE invite.
So I dont have a pre-order key. Any one have ideas on how I can claim my speeder?

Does this mean another 6 hour downtime?
I've been playing this game for 7 days but I could only play it for 4 days because of all the server downtimes
