Same error here... and I thought I was the only one.
I've got directX 9.0c too.. and it's the 4th time now that I'm trying to get in the game, restarted my pc 3 times.. did a full scan in the station launchpad..
Well hope I can get to play this fine publish.
What's that about the imperial crackdown firepower?!??!Can't understand what it means..

Crafting
- Allowed survey/sampling while on mounts
GCW
- Imperial crackdown presence has had their firepower DRAMATICALLY increased
Player Structures
- All maintenance fees will automatically attempt to deduct from Bank accounts after the maintenance pool has been depleted. Once a structure reaches 0 hitpoints, it will flag itself as condemned instead of deleting itself. Condemned houses are not enterable, and all other structures are not usable. To uncondemn a house, simply enter it with enough money in the bank to pay the repair cost. To uncondemn all other structures, use them with enough money in the bank to pay the costs.
First, thanx for the vehicle surveying change. Having to drive 100m, hop off, survey, mount, drive 100m, etc etc was very annoying for a very mundane task.
Second, Green-Star Stormtroopers were completely unrealistic and pointless, so thanx for inproving that.
On the maintenance fees, sometimes we lose the WPs to our structures. To remedy this, we have to wait for them to run out of maintenance and collapse to free up our Lots. So please create a way for us to find lost structures. Otherwise we will be permanently punished for an inadvertent error.
Overall, everything that affects me I'm happy with though.

I also have the question about the condemned structures. We have a person in the city who placed our Cantina, and she never logs on anymore. We wanted to move the cantina, but as nobody can take it down but her, we have decided to let it burn to the ground and just put up a new one. If there isn't a timer on how long a person has to go and fix it after it hits 0, then it is just stuck there forever, not able to be used, and taking up space. I am sure you guys thought of this, just curious how it will work.

The new system means well but over time will turn most player cities into ghost cities. I proposed an alternative here. All structures to have a "Maintenance List", and any players on a structures maintenance list can enter it to pay maintenance, but will have no other admin powers. This leaves the decision on whether to keep paying for a neglected structure to real, live, active players who may be friends, neighbors or mayor of the departed player.

Crash or not, They've done a great job.
They're apprently working hard on making this game more stable ... despite the actual down

Wow, this sounds like a great patch! I can't wait to get on. Does anyone know when the servers are going to be up?
