TIGGS-warcry is still broke.
But other than that great job, love the new loot
Actually at least in PvE I notice it working right, its breaking upon taking damage, tried it a handful of times on a tusken oberserver, second i hit him it broke and he attacked back.

Ever think it may be your internet connection? I have not seen much in the way of lag at all nor have a been disconnected due to lag issues...

Here I go again. Booted twice in one hour. This is not beta is it? I can't remember the last time I lagged so bad outside of town or was booted so often with the exception of beta testing. Someone needs to fix this patch or remove it from the game. It sure makes you question the money paid for a game that does not work. Come on developers, lets do it right or leave it alone!

Space Missions
- Corellia Privateer: Adwan Turoldine will now recognize that you have succeeded his third mission the next time you are victorious. If you currently have this mission, abort it and speak with Adwan again.
on behalf of all the Corsec pilots out there waiting on this fix so they could master, thanks for nothing. Now the mission is as hard as the vette mission. I'd like to know, from when this broke until the morning of the patch did any corsec pilots on any server get by this mission to master?
I don't reckon anyone did, unless it bugged in some way.
The mission is still the same as before though - the only difference is, the Black Sun ships don't float happily in space on the first part. Over three weeks, I became quite practiced at killing them all before they started moving!
Last night, with about 6 other people I got past this mission, soloed the 4444 exit mission and the 30-TIEs mission, and am waiting on a Corvette group to get master

The crate autopulling issue is stll here, any ETA about it being fixed? it's not game breaking, but village issues aren't either. I could understand the logics of fixing general bugs before looking at this issue, but once again we can see that jedis are more important in dev's eyes than smugglers.
I understand the frustration. I was a smuggler for a long time and can not only imagine the hassel this bug is causing, but also the constant delays and "being forgotten about".
The village though has nothing to do with Jedi. There is no purpose for us to go there except to do the missions for fun. The whole point of the village is to please the Jedi wannabie, so please don't keep blaiming everything on us.
Back on topic, good patch Tiggs, can't wait to see the new loot about. With the Droid interface changes, are there any plans to make them decay like all other ship components?

Tiggs,
This is not the first time this has been pointed out and I know it wontbe the last, they are NOT smuggler pilots or space smugglers, they are Privateer Pilots !!!
Smugglers are the ones who spent all those skill points on that long forgotten profession, SMUGGLER !!!
If you think really, reallyhard, I feel sure youmight remember us.
One Day.
I could well be wrong on this, but I heard from a friend that there are missions where you actually have to be a smuggler. Also in one of the station lists it has "SA" pilots which I took to be Smuggler Alliance pilots.

Excuse me to be stupid, but if it has nothing to do with jedis how can it be only FS people can access it? What is the purpose of the village? sorry to wake you up out of your dreams, but the village has far more to do with jedis than with anyother profession, that's another example of dedicated content to a single profession, and still not one that has been here since launch.
By referring you to be part of "us" i understand you are a jedi, well, let me ask you what got all the things delayed in this game, and let me ask you what profession has broke the whole game. You don't see? make an effort, smugglers were stated as the more in need of love in september 2003... and by some magical conspiracy in december 2004 the only things that are new are imperial warrant officers smuggling better than master smugglers, entertainers pilots called smugglers by all the npc in the game, a fistful of nerfs (FD reagroing even kms away from the mob, Panic Shot breaking if the target gets damage even if not by you, spices downers, crate autopulling, and the best one, my favorite : ignorance of the smuggler population). Jedis patches have taken more than half of the dev time, for good or bad reasons, but you can't consider you're making a game if your attention is only focused on one out 33 professions.
So no, i won't stop blaming jedis, they brke the game, they drove the devs into a labyrinth from where they can get out only by more and more coding. They don't stop crying about anything that doesn't suit them, and of course they arelistened to, and of course, when another profession tries to use the same methods they are told to go and get f***ed somewhere else. That's not pleading into their favor, and that will not make me like them, for sure.
As a conclusion, about the topic, no, this is not a good patch, it creates more bugs, doesn't fix anything, and doesn't bring any form of communication between, rednames and customers.
FYI, the village is for the Force Sensitive, NOT Jedi. Big difference.
People wanted content. They got in the form of quests, albiet a very weak form of content. People wanted another way to get Jedi, in the form of content (when reality, all it is IS more grinding except with your chosen prof)
Also, the Village offers benefits to people that have no interest in EVER becoming Jedi: combat enhancements, healing enhancements, crafting bonuses, and more. Granted most of these dont work, but its MHO that the combat enhancements wont start working until the CU.
Jedi didn't break the game. Players broke the game (in the form of exploits, and being smarter than the devs gave us credit for). The devs broke the game by ignoring the pleas of what was wrong with the game, and what was right, by not having enough foresight to anticipate problems, and for being lackadasical in their coding.
More people want Jedi than people want smugglers. Jedi sells more copies than smuggler. Jedi appeals to a greater common denominator than smuggler, or any other profession. Noone picks up the box thinking "FREAKINGAWESOME!! I cant wait to be a combat medic!!!" I will conceed that many pick up the boxwith notion of becomingHan Solo. More pick it up to be Boba Fett. I dont have the box anymore, but I think there is an image of a lightsaber on the cover.
If you think for one second, that the devs will put smugglers and their damned autopull whine ahead of a saber, you are wrong. In the grand scheme of things (warcry, empty planets, dead POI's, to name a few), that the autopull is a high priority item, you are wrong again.
As far as the CU is concerned, Jedi are the standard by which EVERY combat profession will be judged against. It only makes sense to Jedi first. Jedi are supposed to be the premier combat and healing class in the game. Everything else must be balanced around that. Trust me. I want other classes to be fixed. I want Commando to not be the door mat that it is. I want Pistoleer to have more than two working specials. I want Carbineer to not be a walking HAM bomb. I want blasters (Riflemen, Pistoleers, Carbineers, Commandos, Bounty Hunters) to be greater in combat than sticks (Swordsmen, Fencers, Pikemen) and fists (TKM). Star Wars is about the blaster. Not a powerhammer or stun baton.
Noone has been more critical of the devs in there, ahem, development of the game than I have. That have made ENORMOUS gaffes in ideas, design, implementation, and above all else, communication with the players. I have roasted these guys on these forums, and havebeen banned once after one particular flame ridden rant. I flame Tiggs and Thunderheart everytime they step up to the plate. Frankly, I cant believe I havent been banned more than once for it.
Smugglers will have their day in the sun. You just have to realize your place in the overall plan, and accept it accordingly. Or change professions. Or quit. That sounds cold hearted, and I fully expect you to come back with a flame ridden diatribe. But thats the way it is, and thats the way it will be.
