UpdateNotes: Live - November 2, 2004
Version: 103987.104155
- Fixed a problem where an Overt player flying a player ship would land at a star port and remain unprotected (and attackable). The 30 second safety delay has been restored.
- Sorosuub Yachts now have the ability to be repaired in the event they take damage from the escape pod.

Aaw, anything more on client performance planned? I still have several guildies who are unable to fly with me because of packet loss.

What about not being able to travel anywhere other than what's local to tatooine?
What about the lack of landing/launch facilities in the 'secret' 'abandoned' rebel base (that gets more activity than the active one on rori...)

Click on the planet list and select one of the other planets. This is how is was yesterday. Unless it has changed since yesterday.

It defaults to Tat but thats it.

Lag is insane. Getting an 800+ ping rate, FPS jumping from 18 to 5 and back, ships stuttering all across the screen, server restting my position as often as 3 times in as many seconds... this needs to be addressed ASAP.
Seriously doubt it's my system... 2 gig Athlon processor, 1 gig RAM, GEForce FX 5200 w/128 megs video RAM.

It could be your ISP, try the following out http://www.broadbandspeedtest.net/ if it does prove that there is nothing wrong with your pc or your internet connection then you can email the results to Sony with a bug report

It could also be the software. Everyone I play with has been experiencing lag problems that coincided with the first push of the JTL software to production. Sunday I was zipping along on my bike and crashed into an interior wall of an IMP base that sprang up around me.
I have a multi gig processor with a gig of memory and an Geforce 5600, and a 3 meg internet connection.
I have been a network engineer for 20 years, and I can tell you - its not my network. SOE needs to address this.
